I've got the CD+DVD for the Aphrodite Tour, which I thought was brilliant both vocally and visually - isn't it her highest budget and/or grossing tour? Her vocals on the Anti Tour were fantastic too, possibly even more than the Aphrodite Tour.

This is a hard one. I did love the live in dublin in release at the time which is the enjoy yourself tour. Intimate and Live was great as at the time i wasn't sure when we would ever see Kylie tour again and it was that tour that made her realise that she had to return to her pop roots again.

On a night like this was great as for me i remember getting the dvd and watching and thinking, yes Kylie is truly back. Fever was great too and as i managed to actually get to see the tour i loved it. Likewise with showgirl i went to it and it was amazing, showgirl homecoming was very nostalgic as it was her return from beating cancer and i had a sense of appreciation about Kylie from it after what she went through.

X though didnt do it for me as much, while i enjoyed it n parts i just didnt enjoy it as much as the previous tours and there was something about the stage that i didnt quiet war to either. Aphrodite again was good but i think it lacked something but i cant but my finger on it, i think because there was so many album tracks performed i kinda missed some of the golden Kylie. The anti tour from all the clips i have seen i just love and i just wish it was released on dvd and cd.

I think overall i have to go with on a night like this, light years as an album i just love and as i said this tour showed the fans and everyone that Kylie was back and back bigger than ever, its still a dvd i watch alot and still enjoy.

Surely the point of a tour is to perform album tracks? It'd be a re-hashed GH tour if she did alot of singles.
I know it's a strange choice but for me X 2008 (I've just seen three tours on my own, being Aphrodite, X and Homecoming) is probably my favourite out of all. Visually speaking, Fever would have to be the best.

I'm biased since it is the only one I have seen in person, but Les Folies is my personal favourite. It had the right amount of singles and album tracks. The new

versions she did for some of the songs (Illusions and CGYOOMH) were amazing and she used Andres in his undies on the big screen :kink:

From viewing them her early tours were awful as she always mimed, all of her recent tours over the last 15-18 years she has sung live which has made a huge difference.

This isn't just because it was the first of her tours I saw live, but Showgirl will always be my favourite. I remember in 2005, reading the Seven Days magazine that came with the Sunday Mail, and going to the 'entertainment' section, and there were loads of advertisements for concerts, and Kylie's Showgirl tour was there, so I asked my mum if we could book tickets, and she asked my dad and we ended up going. It was one of the best nights of my life. The costumes from that tour were absolutely fantastic, and all of the acts were brilliant. Kylie is a performer as well as a singer, and I think she really gets that across on her tours, all round entertainer.

I think KylieX2008 was very good too, though, because I absolutely adored the Heart Beat Rock/Wow/Shocked (DNA mix) section. The costume and the stage design. Shame she fell over so many times on that tour, though (:heehee:). Obviously, though, Les Folies was a gay-fan pleaser with all the dancers near-naked. :kink: (almost like that amazing section from Fever 2002, during On A Night Like This and The Loco-Motion ).

I've liked all of her tours since Ultimate Kylie so I can't really pick one. The Anti-Tour wins the most original tour award, though.

They are even better in the flesh :kink:

Speaking of the Fever tour, the ballad section is sublime  her version of The Crying Game is stunning.

Aphrodite Les Folies will always have a special place in my heart due to being second row and manging to get my ticket signed by her the day after.

TBH, we need to know the names of her dancers. :kink: *google search on the horizon* (:heehee:)

Oh yes, I definitely agree there - that ballad section was beautiful. Put Yourself in My Place, too - that's such a beautiful song. <3

On a visual level X2008 was her greatest by far! The costumes, staging, props etc were all divine. The purple dress for the space age section was TO DIE FOR.

But in terms of the setlist, the arrangements, the vocals and overall strength of the performances, I'd have to go with Showgirl Homecoming. At the time I thought the abundance of '80s/early '90s material included was a weakness. Now I think almost all of those songs were among the highlights. Hand on Your Heart especially.

X2008 is probably high up, I agree - the visuals were much better, and the fact she used large screens occupying the whole of the backdrop of the stage was amazing, as opposed to the small area between the steps on the Showgirl tour. The only niggle I have with the X2008 tour though, is why did she change to the black dress from act 1 for the DVD? :( The purple, as you say, was stunning. </3
