January 25, 201313 yr Amelia may hang on as she's back up to number 11 on iTunes because of a Daybreak performance
January 25, 201313 yr Midweek Charts update: I Am Kloot in possible Top 10 first Source: MW by Paul Willams I Am Kloot are heading for their highest-charting album yet in the UK with the newly-issued Let It All In currently locked in the midweek Top 10. The album, issued on the band's Shepherd's Moon label via EMI Services, is showing up as a new entry at No 6 in the latest Sales Flashes, according to the Official Charts Company. That is 18 places higher than the group's best chart ranking of No 24, achieved by their previous album Sky At Night in 2010. Polydor's Les Miserables soundtrack is on course to spend a second week at No 1 on Sunday with a 164% sales lead up to the end of business on Thursday over second-placed Our Version Of Events by Virgin's Emeli Sande, who was also at 2 on last Sunday's chart. Columbia act Calvin Harris's 18 Months climbs a place to 3 to swap places with Jake Bugg's self-titled Mercury album, while the Def Jam/Mercury-issued Unapologetic by Rihanna climbs 6-5. New albums arriving outside the Top 10 include releases by Adam Ant and Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi, while in the singles market Dutch DJs and production duo Bingo Players are heading to No 1 this weekend with their brand new Ministry of Sound track Get Up (Rattle) featuring Far East Movement. Below them, will.i.am featuring Britney Spears' single Scream & Shout drops 1-2, Mercury's Taylor Swift climbs 4-3 with I Knew You Were Trouble, the Def Jam/Mercury track Stay by Rihanna featuring Mikky Ekko is up 5-4 and Parlophone signing Conor Maynard vaults 34-5 with Animal featuring Wiley following his performance on Graham Norton's BBC One show last Friday. January 25, 201313 yr Really hope Amelia can stick there till Sunday but I have a feeling it will drop one more place.
January 25, 201313 yr Great to see Conor still top 5. Hopefully he can keep it for Sunday (although he has already exceeded expectations!!) Fun top 10 and Lawson top 30 on the album chart :cheer:
January 25, 201313 yr Author I think Conor will end up at #5 as Rihanna has taken 3rd place on the iTunes chart. Macklemore and Co, seem to be picking up a bit, the track seems to be a sleeper track at the moment, just easing its way up the iTunes chart very slowly, not sure if the track will get to #1 next week though too early to tell. Top 5 albums are looking the same as last week at the moment with just a minor swap with Jake Bugg and Calvin, but that could change if the the sales are pretty close and a question mark over sales which could be very low, I don't know what percentage HMV have on the album sales chart. Again the new albums might even fall lower over the weekend, depends if supermarkets are stocking them.
January 25, 201313 yr Amelia could actually somehow hang onto the top 10 then if she's still there now. Reallt don't understand where it's getting the push to put it above ~#13. Yay for the climbs since Wednesday for Flo Rida, Dizzee, Matrix & Futurebound and Ellie + Macklemore now in the top 40 (might challenge for top 20 by Sunday if it keeps climbing at its current rate on iTunes)! Also Calvin overtaking Jake on the albums and 'Halcyon' going up 6 since Wednesday :o Eek at the big drop for The Joy Formidable in 2 days, looks like it'll struggle to stay top 40 let alone outpeak 'The Big Roar'.
