Didn't expect Disclosure to release today let alone go top 10 :o It's not as good as 'Latch' but I'd be happy for it to be an official top 10 for them next week!

Agreed Latch deserved to do so much better :(

 

'White Noise' sounds brilliant, but AlunaGeorge's vocals sound like they've been pitched up which sort of ruins the song for me. The vocals on 'You Know You Like It' are much more tolerable imo.

White Noise is probably the best song of the year thus far. It's wonderful.

The question one needs to ask is, why release the track on a Friday? It wasn't On Air / On Sale.

White Noise is the track of the year so far. :wub: :w00t: Been on repeat since the Zane Lowe premiere last week. Such an amazing track! The moment that I heard AlunaGeorge and Disclosure were going to work together I had a meltdown and had to prepare myself for the insane song that would be the product of the collaboration.

Not at all?! There are literally about 5 people who prefer it to 'Latch' from what I've seen. They must just be a very vocal minority.

 

'White Noise' is not as good as 'Latch' but 'Latch' was in my year end top 10 of 2012 so it had a lot to live up to. Not gonna complain about any Disclosure success.

You missed out AlunaGeorge which is a mixed duo. And since this post Baby Blue can also be added to the females list (but Matrix & Futurebound just displace The Lumineers in the male list :P)
