He was being interviewed on the radio, and he was full-on stressed out, saying stuff like "Someone hacked into our computers and stole the a capella, and he made this tacky instrumental to it. That's not me at all. I organized for my record label to rush-release the real version, because I can't have people thinking I made that instrumental, I wouldn't make something like that".

That's why the song got released on a Monday, and only got its music video months later.

Haha, well if I remember well Madonna and Cher was also freaked out because of leaks.

That's about as unoriginal as records come
Loving 'Get Hyper' on first listen! Really surprised at it becoming a hit (seemingly) just from a viral video (which I incidentally had never heard of until this started smashing). But yay.
To me Get Hyper is a bit of a time travel back to the 90s. A bit of a rave music but in a drum n' bass style :D

Oh! 2 fantastic songs in a row! :w00t: Just wondering if Magnetic Eyes is the next one.

#28 is a strong debut for 2 days' sales - nearly as high as the debut for 'Latch'! This should fly to the top 10 next week, would say top 5 but I imagine it'll drop quite a lot on iTunes over the week.

 anyway.

I'm actually banging my head on the desk right now (in a good way).

One way to get some sense into you! :P

White Noise is so smooth and effortless-sounding, not nearly as good as Latch but a respectable follow up.
Well, I wasn't quite expecting this...it sounds like it was produced in about five minutes!

It does have a bit of an air of that about it, but even so, can't help but love it.

That's a lot better (than "Get Hyper", not "Latch")
I guess this is a grower, since I'm not really getting what all the fuss is about on first listen.
