I'm not sure I trust Saturdays management, I know exactly what there like! It would have been great to have seen it released now to ensure the single passes 100,000 this week. They have 3 days to sell 33,000? I think they may just fall short.

 

Regardless, we would have been DELIGHTED had it even passed 60,000 sales this week, right?

I'm fairly confident they'll manage it, tbh. I think Saturday is a pretty big day for sales and with Alan Carr being tonight, I can see it having some sort of boost. I also think that the clubs will play it a lot tonight during a night out so I can see them benefitting from "the weekend effect" as opposed to falling because of it. I think they can get over 100k. 113k-117k I reckon. SMASHING their previous opening week record!

This time last week everyone was worrying about whether they could actually get the #1!! It would be incredible if they did manage it, but at the end of the day longevity and decent OVERALL sales are much more important than this week's sales.

I actually can't believe there getting their first number one! Rochelle will force Marvin to drink the bubbly! I was dissapointed when I commanded the club to shake their head and no one did anything.

I don't think sales are issued, certifications are the only real way to know considering 15,000 is Platinum and so forth.

I don't think anyone could have predicated that The Saturdays would have a number 1 single and a possible 100k+ first week seller with this. It's amazing. Hopefully with the success of What About Us here it will encourage them to push this single hugely in other countries, I hope they don't give up on the US!
