It's pretty much guaranteed. He has 37k to catch up to them. Including today and tomorrow, the sats will probably sell another 25k taking their total to 112k. They've pretty much smooshed him with their thumb :D :heehee:

 

They've outsold him everyday this week. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a battle between them for number 1 next week.

Officially, for SURE! They have a 20k+ lead I think - although that's only an assumption as we haven't had anything said about their lead/Justin's sales. Even if it was less than a 20k lead, it's near impossible for Justin to overtake now.

Yes. They've been ahead of him since Sunday noon and there's a 35K gap between them in the midweeks, there's no way he'll be #1.

Yeah. I read the SCP thread wrong. 50k+ was meant for 'Mirrors', but Martin put it under his album, so I'd assumed he would "only" be around 20k behind them :lol:

The lead is 37K. :) It's increased everyday whilst their ratio has been slowly decrease from the initial 2:1.

It's so nice coming onto a thread here to be greeted with positivity :-) I love the song, so glad to see it's number one!

How much have they sold each day so far?? Can't remember if I've got this right:

 

Sun/Mon - 52k

Tues - 13k (?) to put them on 65k

Weds - 11k (?) to reach 76k

Thurs - 11k (?) to reach 87k

Fri - hopefully 10k at least to put them at 97k

Sat - hopefully between 10-14k to end up on 107-111k (please let it happen!!)

I don't think they sold 10K today at all. They've been mostly in red and sales are low during the week as it is. I'm aiming for them to beat Little Mix but probably miss out on beating 1D.

I think after Alan Carr, they could get a good boost! The fact sean paul is there will be good :D

Weren't we red all day yesterday too? Still selling more than Justin and he's been white or green all day.

We decreased a lot more yesterday than we have (been) today so sales should be good. It would be awesome if their lead ended up at 40K. :)

Justin's been selling 9-10k all week at #2. Obviously The Sats would have done more today, they're still ahead! Even if it's just slightly up on his total for the day. Or even if he's done 8k today, they'll probably have done 9k taking them to 96k today.

Yeah, so if he had done 8K today, we'd have done 9.75K. :)

 

I must admit I am not too sure how itunes work, but kworb says JT is less than 14% behind them, which to me means that he is almost at their sales. Am I right or just completely confused?

Nah, he's selling 14% less than them at the moment, not sales wise in total.

The girls are still roaring ahead of everyone, except Justin. He's still got a ways to go though.

I just hope he doesn't take the #1 off them :( I am sure they have it in the bag tho!

Kworb just tells us how a song is performing in comparison to the previous update. It's real time ad does not take into consideration cumulative sales.
