Sorry, but I'm never right with these things so I'm gonna boast... and gonna have this...

So despite selling 15k on Tues and Wed, with 13k & 12k Thurs and Fri, you think they're going to sell ~16k over Friday and Saturday, despite promo? I know Alan Carr barely has an impact usually, but I think 13k for todays sales and then 16k-18k for Saturday sales. I think they're looking for 113k+ (minimum) tbh.
BOO YAH :drink: :drink:

So proud of them after so many near misses! I also love how The X Factor tweets something about them now that they have a number 1 single! I think The Sats should turn them down if they get offered now, tbh. :smoke:

I dont care if its early in the year, fastest single so far = Brit Award please :)
I wonder if all these tweets etc.. will get them some press in the US, therefore boosting the single a little over there, too?

They really did. And it feels like a true number one.

Gosh, I am soooooooo happy.

Hopefully they can continue to sell loads and hopefully become nominated for at least Best British Singles; hopefully best group too!

this will sound petty, but they just added the fact it was #1 to this forum and the writer said its nothing special and that anything can get to #1, it then takes the rest of the time talking about Depeche Mode... :(

BUT #1 WOOOOO

Absolutely amazing. What a way to nab their first number 1!!! :D
Well done to them for finally getting that much sought after number 1, i hope it holds up for them now, this could now go on to be their biggest selling single which is a positive sign for the new album.

The best thing about that is, Depeche Mode have never had a #1 single in the UK, so clearly not 'anything' can. Ha.

So this is their 14th single which sold 114k, and their first single sold 14k. Crazy. Must be something about 14! :P
I remember some twitter comments: The Saturdays haven't even cracked the UK or there is a reason why the Sats don't have a #1.." well EAT THAT SUCKERS. They are #1 and it IS a big deal. There is no one that can take this excitement away from Team Sats today! So happy & proud of everyone in the UK supporting this song. Hope it blows up here in Canada & US
I think the fact that this officially went #1 in the UK should really help them with their campaigns in other countries, especially the rest of Europe and Oceania. I can see this going Top 10 in Australia and at least charting in Germany.
They announced on Lorraine (I think it was) That they are hoping to do a tour at the start of next year! I already can't wait! Everyone will be screaming to WAU!!!!1
It's a silly thing to do but I've really got my hopes up for a second week at #1. :(

I don't think that's silly at all. It might be a bit of a stretch, but even if they can manage to sell around half of what they sold this week, it's a possibility. JT should start decreasing and Pink might increase, but I don't know if it will be enough. Keep in mind that their airplay is skyrocketing as well. Fingers crossed!

They got any promo this week?
