February 6, 201312 yr Author I could say that about a fair few of your examples. Which ones, exactly?
February 6, 201312 yr I always forget that Hole In The Head by Sugababes was actually a number 1, not that I've forgotten the song, I just am like oh yeah that was a number 1? It sounds more like a no.3 to me.
February 7, 201312 yr All of Geri Halliwell's solo #1 singles Darius - Colourblind Ronan Keeting - If Tomorrow Never Comes
February 7, 201312 yr All of Geri Halliwell's solo #1 singles Darius - Colourblind Ronan Keeting - If Tomorrow Never Comes No to the latter. If ever hear that or the radio again/hear someone singing karaoke (badly) to it, I may have to die. It's not even good. :( I love 'Colourblind', but sadly it very much a forgotten number one. Was part of a string of one weekers iirc that included Sugababes' 'Round Round' and Blazin' Squad's 'Crossroads'!
February 7, 201312 yr Author Blazin' Squad's 'Crossroads'! Speaking of forgotten chart toppers... I guess this one isn't also that remembered these days, however unjust that might be in some ways, since we're talking about the first all-Black British group to ever hit the top. 788BOtx_-Nw Edited February 7, 201312 yr by jaxxalude
February 7, 201312 yr Author ^ Hmm, maybe. I believe that song is a usual feature in Worst #1 Singles Ever-type lists. Edited February 7, 201312 yr by jaxxalude
February 7, 201312 yr Blur - Beetlebum (can't say I remember how this one goes, but others will disagree) U2 - Discotheque (same comment as Blur) two songs I listen to regularly
February 7, 201312 yr The best way to sort this out is to do a Sporacle game of all the number 1s EVER. Like the ones Thermometer does - then we'd have the answers. http://www.sporcle.com/games/Thermometer1/...-the-uk-top-100 Edited February 7, 201312 yr by AnthonyT

Like the ones Thermometer does - then we'd have the answers. http://www.sporcle.com/games/Thermometer1/...-the-uk-top-100 That might be a good idea actually - however it would have to split across many quizzes because of the mass number of #1s. Plus there would be bias towards recent #1s and most Buzzjackers wouldn't remember many pre-1970 because of the average age group
February 7, 201312 yr I haven't used Sporacle before - does the creator have access to the results? I would hope that people see the point of it - it's not a competiton to see who gets the most. It really is to find out the least remembered number 1s. However, alternative spellings of the titles and acts may cause problems.

Alternatively just add '/results' to the end of the URL. I could go put together a 'UK #1s since 2000' quiz though it'd still need to be split into 2 as the maximum number of answers for a quiz is 300 and there's definitely been more than 300 #1s since 2000.

February 7, 201312 yr Author In a year positively filled with future classics and/or seminal tunes, this one sticks out like a sore thumb. Wikipedia (yeah, I know...) tells me there have been more than 200-count-em-200 covers of this Marijohn Wilkin and Kris Kristofferson-written and composed song. But honestly, can anyone tell them apart? And do many people really have any idea what's this song and/or how it goes? XGd2kuMIJIo

You've completely missed out "Patience" in part 1! I got 90 (3 of which were by entering another song's title and that also being correctly guessed at the same time). I completely forgot about some of my favourite artists/songs, but understandably got more of the 2004-6 ones, due to my age. Part 2 now! EDIT: Only missed 3 songs, all from 2011, in the second quiz  "On the Floor" being the only face-palm one, with two songs that I hate being the others ("Louder" and "Stay Awake"). Have done part 1 and got 119. Is it just me or did you forget Robbie Williams "Radio" and Kaiser Chiefs "Ruby" as I tried those and didn't get anything
