CLUE: It's not a very well-known fact that Robert Downey Jr once released a solo album. This next infamous celebrity also released a duet album for charity...

What you say about the IM2 ???? I think that was one of the best movie of Hollywood. Now the IM3 will break all the records because it is more thriller and adventures also in 3D.

Surely 'Iron Man 3' will only do better than 'Iron Man 2' because of the success of 'The Avengers'? It's being given a very, VERY similar release strategy. I'm really excited for this. I hope it delivers better than the 2nd one, which was for me, ultimately disappointing.
There are NO WORDS to describe how excited I am to see this. I've never really been a comic book guy but the Marvel films, since they took them in house, have been pretty flawless. They may not be strictly true to the comic books or whatever, but to me they are just really good films that are being made very cleverly by a company that clearly cares about the end product. I love how intertwined the Marvel Cinematic Universe is and that there are references that cross over and stuff. It's brilliant! It's like that rare moment where a TV series actually has continuity!
Looking forward to this, looks so much better than IM2, its been given 25th April release date. There probably be a teaser at the end of the credits for the Avengers Phase 2.

Is anyone going to see it at any point this week? There's a midnight showing tomorrow, but then it's released on Thursday. SO EXCITED.

Saw it today, its pretty awesome non stop action all the way, the only drawback the inclusion of Ben Kingsley, seems pretty pointless. There is a little snippet after the credits, so don't walk out during the credits.

Read reports on imdb Robert Downey Jr's contract with Marvel has expired, there are no plans for IM4 unless a different actor is approached to play Iron Man, and he hasn't signed anything yet for The Avengers Phase 2.

Pretty certain he'll sign on to do 'Avengers 2' even if it was just for an official farewell sort of thing. Seeing this on Sunday and so excited! :D
He'd be a fool not to continue playing the Iron Man, especially if his other option is the shιtty Sherlock Holmes films.

I just went to see this at the cinema.

And it was AMAZING. It was definitely better than The Avengers in my opinion. I should really get into the rest of the Iron Man films! :D

I went to see this earlier tonight and it was great. Not quite up there with 'The Avengers'/'Iron Man' (first one) for me though, but it was very good and far more entertaining than the second 'Iron Man'. At first though I was thinking I was watching an episode of Doctor Who or something, when we first saw

the bad guys turn into those, hot things.

It was quite strange, but didn't throw me off completely. Ben Kingsley was disappointing, though.

It's a very, very solid 7 out of 10 (as in 7.8/7.9). Will see it again at some point.

I liked it a lot but it did seem like it was on forever, I'd give it a 7/10 though

Saw it in 3D, best of the Iron Man movies (and way better than Iron man II) but not as good as Avengers. Then again, very few films area as good as Avengers, utterly brilliant...

uniformly good cast performances & dialogue

I enjoyed it, passed the time - and going against the thoughts in this thread so far, thought Ben Kingsley was a highlight. And I usually don't like him!
I don't think I've ever seen a film go from something like 95% on Rotten Tomatoes (UK Release) to 78% after the American release, or maybe I just don't look into these things enough.
