Posted February 4, 201312 yr aKdm-5gbtgo Potentially amazing. I have high hopes. Out March. Awesome poster too. http://i2.cdnds.net/13/05/618x918/movies-danny-boyle-trance-poster.jpg
February 4, 201312 yr Looks very good indeed! James McAvoy has come a very long way since his days in 'Shameless'. I feel proud of him whenever I see his movies, for some reason  He's a great actor though, so his success is deserved!
March 28, 201312 yr the whole build up and crescendo to the scene with the car on fire and the truck crashing it into the water was just incredible esp. with that underworld soundtrack overlayed. as illogical as some of it seemed it made up for itself with the rest
April 3, 201312 yr Really, really enjoyed this. Although it's definitely one of those films for me, where I have to see it again to properly understand it! But I did think it was very good and brilliantly directed (I usually find Danny Boyle - good, but overrated). The cast was incredible too and (as ever with a Danny Boyle film) the soundtrack was glorious (especially the track with Emeli Sandull on it!)

The cast was incredible too and (as ever with a Danny Boyle film) the soundtrack was glorious (especially the track with Emeli Sandull on it!) I think I know what you mean, there was an element of 'who EXACTLY was the bad guy?' when it finished! I did enjoy it though, even if some bits (the finger nail removal bit) were significantly more graphic than I was expecting.
July 4, 201311 yr Author Just seen this. For the first 45 minutes I was a bit underwhelmed. Just another decent heist film with a bit of Inception thrown in for good measure. But as Jake said the build up to the fire scene was just an astonishing assault on the senses and the way everything fell into place like pieces of a puzzle was perfect. A 9 from me and something I really feel I should watch again. Fabulous performances from the three leads.
July 6, 201311 yr It was really good although the beginning really did look like it's Inception 2.0 only without fancy gadgets and computers. I DID however called Elizabeth having an ulterior motive (that it's in fact HER who is in control the whole time), mainly to seek revenge for her abuse in the past. The way she was touching her neck gave it away, especially after she told about the violation to Frank (or whichever he's called)!
July 11, 201311 yr Damn another one I HAVE to see, this has been on my list since I first heard of it and now even more excited after reading the reviews!
