Gabrielle a bit low at the moment but I suppose that's largely down to her release problems. I still think she's pretty much set for #3, she doesn't exactly have to sell much. Would be very pleased to see her lower than that though, unbelievably dull song.

 

Don't like either of this week's major releases, although thankfully tomorrow the best song of the year so far (James Blake - Retrograde) is getting a release! I have no idea what to expect from that, fingers crossed he might have enough of a fanbase to go top 40 maybe? It's only been held back 4 days from its premiere (he should have released it today etc. argh) and OA/OS tracks by more 'alternative' artists tend to do better than held-back ones.

 

P!nk has a second version at #87, which actually credits Nate Ruess (from what I understand the top version does have him on it as well, he's just uncredited for some reason). I thought people were being a bit silly predicting this to be huge but so far it looks like they're right :o

I'm not sure if Gabrielle Aplin will go top 5, I'm thinking it will sneak top 10 peaking at 8-10 and dropping quite heavy.

There does seem to still be an issue with Gabrielle's song not showing up in the singles chart on iTunes itself, so it looks like she is still being held back in that respect. Hopefully it'll appear soon like her EP has done in the albums chart.

I noticed that when one of the updates here mentioned she was #101 yet wasn't anywhere to be seen on my iTunes feed.

Not sure if Gabrielle Alpin can get top 10, I think she struggle to get 20, can't see her maintaining in the itunes top 20/40 all week if she gets there.

 

I still think Avicii might peak at #2, the track might get stuck behind Macklemore, just have to see what happens later on tonight.

Don't worry Joseph, she wasn't able to get going for several hours due to not showing up on iTunes (and still not showing on the chart now). Hopefully she'll still be able to get top 10! :D

Hmm, do you have the newest version of iTunes? Cause Bre was saying the same thing last night and we thought it must've been cause he had the older version of iTunes. I think its been because the pre-order was originally uploaded during the last version of iTunes and since its been updated, the pre-order page still used the old formatting. Now it seems to have been reuploaded to use the new iTunes store format but has caused these issues with not appearing in charts on the latest iTunes. Very complicated! :lol:

I don't think the problem is affecting her as much as her fans want to believe though. :P She's showing as number 1 on the iTunes album chart for me, which is slightly below the singles chart top 10 on the homepage, so people don't need to scroll much further. I think people are just interested in buying the EP more than just the song itself. So that'll be enough to make people aware that it's available.

 

It's just under performing on the singles chart and Ryan her stans can't get over that :heehee: I genuinely believe she wouldn't be that much higher tbh. People can still purchase the song with no problem, can't they? :unsure:
