Why would people receiving a physical copy of the album early affect its sales on iTunes? Surely they'd just rip the CD onto their computer rather than paying again to download it! :P

epic fail moment -_-

The Phonics are at #26 with Indian Summer, hopefully can give them a push into the Top 40 tomorrow. Listening to Graffiti On The Train now, it's a really good album. It's currently at number 68 as a pre-order on the itunes album chart. I wonder if it can go to Number 1 next week? Hope so :)
I haven't taken an active interest in the Stereophonics for years. Maybe it's time to get back into them? :D

Maybe #2, I think Bastille will easily get the #1 album next week. Laura Mvula's album is out too but probably gping to be low top 10 at best :(

I'll be happy with anything top 10, after Keep Calm And Carry On was robbed of it ;_;

Forgot about Bastille. The last album from The Stereophonics, Keep Calm and Carry On got to number 11 with 42,771 copies in 2009 according to Wikipedia, so if it can repeat them sales it could just do it in this climate, depends how Bastille sell. But to be honest I think I'd be happy with GOTT going to number 2 on the album chart next week, it would be as big improvement on Keep Calm.

 42. Everywhere - Fleetwood Mac

I didn't recognise this song from the title but just saw the ad it's on and I do know it, never knew this was a Fleetwood Mac song :o Would love to see it in the top 40 and it seems to be heading that way.

One Direction  #2

Thrift Shop  #3

UGH, what's the reason for this? :drama: Looks like Bastille will probably end up at #3 tomorrow (which is still a damn good result anyway)

It's hard to tell who'll get the #1 album next week. Obviously i want Bad Blood to get it, but Stereophonics' new single is doing better than Innocent did, so their new album isn't likely to do much worse than 'Keep Calm'. Dido will probaby be somewhere in the Top 5 (and isn't mother's day coming up in about a week or so? That'll give a boost to a few albums as well)

229. Justin Bieber feat Ludacris - All Around The World

300. Nicole Scherzinger - Boomerang [Pre-order]

303. Justin Bieber - All Around The World (Acoustic Version)

1042. Justin Bieber feat Ludacris - All Around The World

Not much effect after their performances. I expected Bieber would go top 100 and possibly Nicole's pre-order too!

Surely not? I don't think 1D would close a 7k+ gap in less than a day. I think the top 3 are pretty set now.

Isn't it 2 days? I always thought the Friday mids counted sales up until Thursday. Either way, i think it might be close

That boost must have been in the last couple of hours though, 7k gap is a tall order. as Bre said Bastille should finish #2.

But Bastille were still (presumably) outselling them until just now. That's also why I put the '+' in after the 7k.

Thank god 1D have climbed back to #2 now! I honestly prefer their single to 'Thrift Shop'. And 'Pompeli' is  to #5 now. 'When I Was Your Man' #4.

Thankgoodness Bruno is up to 4. Fab performance.

Is Nicole looking at a low top 10 hit for Boomerang? The song is doing very poorly on pre-orders.
