Yes, that is an interesting one , I cannot see Robbie doing his own show there , I am not sure he would appeal to the America tv audience in a role like JC , I think it would have to be some other type of project

Syd, I thought more about being part of a panel like in American idol or America got talent as he needs somehow to be introduced first. I also would not like him to do the JC style. I am not even a fan of these silly little videos like the Beyoncé one many like. This is not the Rob I like. Irony yes. Sometimes silly yes. But in the last months/years I see less and less of what made him appeal for me. And nevertheless I hang on waiting for something interesting happening :-)

Times have also changed. On gray days I wonder if there is still time and place for the Rob I like who is not always PC. He might get in trouble with that :-)

Let's wait for some time more.

I believe it's not so easy to manage the projects that we on cards... And maybe it's not so easy to change them fast.

He will be back in his own time Elizabeth & s entertaining as ever , financially he does not need to work his ass off & can really more or less do what he likes & still make a living. I agree with a lot of what you say but I like what he does ( not all of it ) , love him as a singer ( lifts my mood especially that video that Chris put together on YT , that for me was really uplifting & made me see what I am missing ) & I take the good with the bad . I mean you could say the same about any artists or group that are around for years, I am sure they do not please everyone either but by gosh they give value for money over the years .

 

I have only been to see Robbie a few times live , I have missed out some on purpose ( kicking myself for missing the Camden gig ) as I know I would get bored of hearing the same songs over & over but he is still one of my favourite artists. A panel like American Idol is o but it's not where he shines, Robbie is better doing his own thing & I have no doubt he can still sell stadiums if the current situation gets better which I am sure it will.

 

 

BTW, Robbie is probably quite busy working with the powers that be on his biopic .... :unsure:

Early edgy Robbie is the star I fell in love with and when I see old film of him I can still see why. ^_^ Plus physically he was so bloody gorgeous. :wub:

 

He's matured and calmed like we all do. Sometimes I think that's a shame but it's definitely better for his health.

 

I'm not into the movement towards light flamboyant entertainment these last few years. That has lost me a bit along the way.

 

I'm hoping he gets that out of his system.

 

But he still has that ability to surprise me, his songs can still speak to me and I want him to be happy from the bottom of my heart.

 

I like that he's always looking forward for his next venture and that he makes things happen that he wants to happen (pandemic excepted).

 

He's got an amazing history but I like that he doesn't rest on his laurels nor ever look back - although I think he should give himself an occasional pat on the back for all that he's achieved these thirty odd years. B-)

Where are they on the pictures with Rob? Looks like a special garden.

 

 

Could be on vacation in a villa somewhere given it's Aydas birthday .... could be considered safer than having a load of folks at your house given the current situation with covid :unsure:
