To Our Charlton…7 yrs old today …wow! Ever since the Oct. 27, 2014, you have blessed us in this world and have made every day the most beautiful day (even the ones with poop and tantrums:). It’s all going so quickly, but we just wanted to let you know how truly blessed we feel to be your mommy and your daddy. Thank you for being totally awesome …HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLIE #happybirthday #birthdayboy #beautifulday #beautifulboy #charlieandthechocolatefactory AWxx

That was all a bit unfortunate with Neil Taylor - he kind of got dropped didn't he - when RW got a new Musical Director.

I don't think it ended well at all.

I did not know anything happened Laura, he was only with Robbie for 3 years , did he not leave after the Close Encounter tour & was Stephen Duffy not the musical director for that tour given he has co-written the album which made total sense .

I remember a fan asked him about it on a Q&A a few years ago and he said the MD (the one before Guy came back - I've forgotten his name)wanted to get rid of Neil and shake up the band a bit - and RW didn't stick up for Neil and just went along with it.

I understood that they wanted to have a younger guitarist after Close Encounter. I never read about a fall out with Neil (yes, disappointment) like with Chris Sharrock. I also think that Neil and Gary Nuttal and Jerry kept a bond. With Rob you never know. His friendships pop up, vanish, pop up again.

Aside of this Rob has been on vacation or under the radar the entire year. I think there will be the launch of the new app/website this year and nothing else. he has prepared everything for next year and the year after. Looking at the competition this Christmas he might have done it right. I wonder if the biopic will go through. And the concerts. They posted on FB that half of the tickets are sold (last week). If he comes up with all what he has indicated he can be lucky and sell the 150,000

I think between Adele and Ed Sheeran - the album number ones are sewn up this year.

Maybe he'll release the next album outside of Q4. Album sales are so low - I can't see it would make any difference.

I'm happy to listen to the Christmas Present throughout the festive period this year and wait for fresh music next year.

But I hope for Abba's first week too :)

Maybe plans in progress for West End of TBITD

It seems it was supposed to come to the West End in November 2019 , that was deferred to last summer which of course we know did not happen due to covid but looks like it will happen at some stage .

I never heard of a falling out, Robbie does not comes across as someone who has an emotional attachment when it comes to business ..

Gary N is the only 'constant' since day 1

I didn't know there was a fall out with Chris? I thought Chris just needed a job since Rob was in a long term break and nobody knew when and if he would come back.

I thought Robbie never had a band as such & that they were mostly session musicians , they can hardly afford to sit around waiting for him to decide if he is working or not . I lie To L , he brought something new & fresh to the band
