I would love the song if it wasn't for the fact the main hook is the word YOU stretched out for about 8 notes.

Bit late to the party, but I've listened to Robin and Yohio since the winner has been announced, and I have to say I'm very glad it's Robin! Heartbreak Hotel sounds so flat and average, there's no excitement or anything in the performance. Whereas I think Robin could finish top ten in Malmo.
Well that was that. Sweden doesn't want to win and they're getting it
Look y'all, Anton was in AC TOO and would have been a much better first AC winner. f*** you Sweden
I can't call how well it will do at Eurovision really, I think the best it can hope for is low top ten but the same could have been applied to anything that won here. Amanda Fondell weeping at her 7th place in the semi after beating him to the Idol crown
Who I hope will win

1. You – Robin Stjernberg

2. Begging – Anton Ewald

Good

3. Tell The World I'm Here - Ulrik Munther

4. Skyline - David Lindgren

Average

5. Bed On Fire - Ralf Gyllenhammar

6. Only The Dead Fish Follow The Stream - Louise Hoffsten

Funny

7. En Riktig Jävla Schlager - Ravaillacz

Awful

8. Falling - State of Drama

9. Heartbreak Hotel - YOHIO

10. Copacabanana - Sean Banan

My favorite won :o I can't believe it :w00t:

It's all because of you-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ooo-eh-eh-eh

Can't wait for Anton's song next year, nu Popular.

With better

hair and certainly better wardrope. You don't have to pull the pants up your chest.

The results in full are:

1st Robin Stjernberg: “You” – 166 points

2nd YOHIO: “Heartbreak Hotel” – 133 points

3rd Ulrik Munther: “Tell the World I’m Here” – 126 points

4th Anton Ewald: “Begging” – 108 points

5th Louise Hoffsten: “Only the Dead Fish Follow the Stream” – 85 points

6th Sean Banan: “Copacabanana” – 78 points

7th Ralf Gyllenhammar: “Bed on Fire” – 73 points

8th David Lindgren: “Skyline” – 69 points

9th State of Drama: “Falling” – 68 points

10th Ravaillacz: “En riktig jävla schlager” – 40 points

Kinda fukk in da ass results but hey I am drunk like always when posting here. At least I was one of the three who watched the results since the third is sleeping in my bed. Damn gayho. but yeah, luckily Yohio or the damn bed didn't win. I hoped for surprise win for the dead fishes but hey ho, cannot get everything.
Can't WAIT to see the reaction of the Swedish tabloids. Goodbye to the international juries next year, or at least their influence will be significantly weakened, especially if Robin flops in May!

Lol

Alot of swedes have sent messages to SVT that they weren't able to vote, and polls on whether international juries have too much power or not :P

He won't though, in fact I'm convinced he'll be a top 10 finisher and might even do quite a bit better than that. It's a Danish entry for all intents and purposes, bland enough not to offend anyone but interesting enough to bag decent points from lots.

I think Robin will do fine at the ESC. Unlike Jerick, the fag, who do not answer me on facebook.

I don't really understand why they would give so much influence to the international juries. I wouldn't trust other countries to pick my entry that's for sure.

It's practically begging for tactical voting.

I think it's a fair split, half of the Eurovision result is done by juries and it's people in other countries that will be voting for your entry on the night so?

I hope the uproar isn't too big, it's not as if they hated Robin, he was still 2nd in the televote. Robin was my 3rd favourite on the night so I'm very pleased with the result and that he stopped Yohio.

I watched it and "You" was my fave - looks like Sweden will be getting my 12 points for the 3rd year running! I thought this sounded like the winner after hearing all ten (bare in mind I haven't watched any previous MFs), but was aware it wasn't a favourite. If this doesn't get a top three placing on the night, I'll be equally shocked and outraged!!!

By the way, that "Heartbreak Hotel" was absolutely dire, like a cross between Pete Burns and Justin Hawkins - Terrible! Glad it god bashed into second place.
