Will there be an upset? There is coincidentally, only one more tie to come and that is 9th and 10th place. Which two are unlucky!? Can I just say how FLAWLESS this top 10 is! *.* Me and Tyler are the only two members to rate each song at LEAST a "10". Haus & Casey__ both scored 9 songs out of the top 10 at least a "10" also.

'Break The Ice'. The only downside to this being a single, was that it'd come before 'Radar'. I think the 'Blackout' era should have had 'Radar' 3rd, with this the 4th and (potentially) final single from the album. The production is sublime and possibly one of Britney's finest. The appeal with this song doesn't just stop at Britney! Dame Keri Hilson had writing duties on this as well as providing background vocals for BritBrit! (She also recorded the for the song, too). March 25, 201312 yr Author 10| 'OVERPROTECTED' [AVG: 9.25] >> TWO ELEVENS << 0nGAyYTiRQs HIGHEST SCORES: 11.0 Jonjo 11.0 Lukuzz So into the top 10 we go and kicking things off is the 2nd single from Britney's self-titled 3rd album, 'Overprotected'. This song has always been a favourite of mine from Britney! It's just poptastic but so mature, too. As I said in the 'Slave...' section, this was the era where people started taking her a bit more seriously as an artist and starting treating her like an adult. I think this song has aged pretty decently too. The video to this is one of my favourites for some reason and I have no idea why either, as it's a pretty standard, dancing in a warehouse sort of video. The performances of this were also great! She looked so much more confident in them. This has done far better than I ever anticipated it to, and I'm so pleased it did as I always thought it was under looked and underrated... obviously not. :wub:

Finishing higher than 'Overprotected', thanks to getting one more 11, is the 2nd single from 'Blackout', 'Piece Of Me'. It was the track that stood out above anything else from the album, for me when I first heard it and instantly knew it'd be a hit. I remember when I ran a Britney Fan Myspace account (LOL - it was a music one, where I could upload songs just so I could have some as my "profile music" :lol:) and I remember speaking to some girl about how I got to hear the album before her, due to living in the UK (she was in the US obviously) and was just teasing her so much about it and she asked for highlights, this was the first song I picked. It's just classic Popney, but with the 'Blackout' edge/vibe! It was perfect. It still is pretty much perfect to me. I'll always associate it with being the first track I adored from 'Blackout'.

It's one of those tracks that I always name as a favourite of mine from her, but I always forget just HOW MUCH. It's phenomenal. Such a brilliant comeback single! It has a pretty brilliant dubstep, sort of production and the breakdown is just, amazing. It's one of the songs responsible for bringing dubstep into successful, mainstream pop singles. The video is so good too especially the breakdown bit, where she's fighting with herself and the message behind the video is so clever. So pleased (but shocked somehow) that it reached the top 10 here.

This song is brilliant and I'll never forget the time it leaked! It was the first Britney track I remember listening to, just as it leaked on to the internet, so my excitement levels were so, so high! I don't think I'd got the grasp on how to control my feelings as it leaked! It was literally the only thing I'd listen to, I think. I remember telling my friend that it had leaked and she was freaking out just as much as I was. It was quite an experience. :lol: I think I've only ever done that with this track and 'My Life Would Suck Without You'. I think I played both tracks at least 100 times in one day or something. It was crazy. The production on this song is outstanding and the instrumental is definitely one of the best for BritBrit. Just a great, edgy pop song, with her best video since 'Everytime'. Just a brilliant start, to a great era for her.

I genuinely thought it'd be 'Oops' that wins the battle for that album. But sense has prevailed. YAY. I've always found this song to be underrated/under appreciated so I didn't think it'd do enough to quite go top 10, let alone almost top 5. I still stand by the fact that this would still be a huge hit, if it was released today. The video to it is also fantastic too! That Chairography is brilliant! But yeah, this is such a great pop song that deserved much more success than it got and deserved to be the pop classic that 'Toxic' and 'Baby One More Time' have led themselves to be. (This may or may not be hyperbole - you decide)

March 25, 201312 yr Overprotected and Stronger are both AMAZING songs, two of her best ever! Hold It Against Me and Womanizer are also brilliant too. I find Piece of Me rather overrated. I hope that Till The World Ends and Baby One More Time are out next, they don't deserve to be that high imo!
