TTWE may be a little too high (still deserving of top ten), but Gimme More, Toxic, Everytime and BOMT... are definitely 4 of her best and most iconic songs. This song was (and still is, tbh) a major grower. It was always good to start with, but it just gets more and more infectious the more you hear it. I tired of it a little, but then I got back into it thanks to the video and the (quite frankly AMAZING) remix. I'd consider it one of her best singles, for sure but it definitely surprised me by going top 5 in this countdown. The video is fantastic. So dark and gritty. Perfect for the song. Plus, Britney actually doing some proper choreography! :wub:
March 27, 201312 yr I love 'Till The World Ends' so so much. One of my defining songs of Uni, which is probably why I'm so obsessed with it. This really is an impeccable list (the top ten), and really does highlight her most iconic songs universally, I would change a couple but on the whole WELL DONE BUZZJACK. I love 'Everytime', but I really hope it doesn't win. A brilliant overrated song, but overrated nonetheless as I prefer most of the top fifteen to it.

'Gimme More' is iconic in EVERY way possible. Even in the negative way! The video wasn't the best received video ever as well as THAT performance, that would most certainly have been a "career killer" had it been a Rihanna or Christina Aguilera performance. But my GOD everything about this as a song is PERFECT. It's my second favourite song from her and it's just so dark and the production is top notch! I remember it had quite a lukewarm reception when it first leaked though. I loved it from the moment I first heard it though! Also, only Brit come back fighting from a performance like that infamous VMA's one! It was also the start of the whole "IT'S BRITNEY BITCH". ICONIC. LIVING LEGEND.

It's Britney's 2nd single from 'In The Zone', 'Everytime'. It was the first ever song she ever wrote apparently and that just adds to why I love both her and the song as much as I do. It quite literally is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard both musically and lyrically. I have a very, very special place for this song (as well as 'Shadow') as both of them helped me at a very, hard time in my life. It's the reason as to why I connect with the video as much as I do, too. But yeah, Love this song and am pleased to see it top 3, with her two ultimate, signature tracks. It's the second best song ever.

It is definitely a song that defines an era. When you think of 90's music, you WILL (or at least should) think of this song. When you think of "ultimate pop classics", you WILL think of this song. When you think of "the greatest music debuts ever", you WILL think of this song. It's a pop staple and it's one of those songs that really can't be called "overrated" as it changed pop music. If you don't like it, fair enough but I think even you'd agree that it's a "classic". Even the "haters" can see it's iconic. Speaking of "iconic", I really can't think of another video which was more talked about, whilst I was around and interested in music. THAT SCHOOL OUTFIT. Iconic. Masterpiece. Epic.
