I agree. I'm glad they've pulled it forwards as the song has been climbing well on iTunes and if they left it to May it could drop before then and people may have been a bit bored of it by the time it got released. That said, they've yet to debut in the airplay top 50 so I don't see the sense of rushing it out now when still a large part of the public aren't really that aware of it. I think this Sunday would have been ideal, if will peak in the top 40 this week anyways, so next week they'll get more spins on tv with the top 40 countdown shows, that will also likely increase it's radio airplay too, so the public will be becoming more aware of it. There's never any sense in releasing midweek, especially for a group like LM where chart positions are important. <_<

 

I am excited to download it though, I just don't see why they couldn't have waited.

I think this is going to be a decent hit for them! The remix just makes the song.

They're on Radio 1 tomorrow so it doesn't seem too random, maybe trying to take advantage of that. Shouldn't harm sales.

OK I'm hooked on this now, more so than any of their previous singles! Fantastic single choice, even if I was a tad unsure on it initially.

It is top 15 on itunes now so another top 20 hit beckons which is great, i think it deserves top 10 at the very least.

I got bored of this really quickly. :(

The Chatty Man performance of this was fantastic! The dancing and singing was great from all girls (and the back-up dancers); Leigh-Anne was slightly weaking than the other girls whilst singing, but she always is. The interview was really cute as well; they're definitely the most likeable current girlgroup, and they obviously have their great dancing to go with their vocals. It's a shame this is under-performing currently, I thought it'd do similarly to Alexandra Burke's "All Night Long", but the release strategy really messed that up :(

Yeah I'm kinda disappointed with it's chart performance atm too, although that said it is up to #12 on iTunes atm, so there's obviously legs in it yet. As long as it outsells Change Your Life in the end I'll be happy. They've constantly confirmed that this is the last single for the album so it would be good to end it on a high. Plus everyone saying that people are loosing interest in them because every single they release sells less than the one before is kinda annoying. To me, that's expected, but I'd like them to buck the trend here just to prove a point.

With its current run on itunes this week i think how ya doin will easily match change your mind sales but i believe will outsell it. 5 top 20 singles and a platinum selling albums indicates a strong start to their career, its not only the best performance by any x factor winner in a long time they have achieved something many artists cant do anymore, which is get 5 top 20 hits of 1 album, many struggle to get 2.

Do we really count that coronation single? Especially as it's not even on the album.

 

I consider them to have 4 top 20 singles from this album, still an impressive feat all the same.

 

It's a shame 'Red Planet' isn't gonna see the light of day. :(
