I can't believe some people in here are calling 'Bow Down' and 'Run The World' terrible songs! They're great - especially RTW which has to be one of Beyonce's best singles ever.

I don't think The Saturdays are deserving of a #1 (especially with this song) but in all fairness there could be worse alternatives.

JUST GET OUT. :D

Whateverrr. IMO that was the very worst song of 2011. Awful.

I love them too. Run the World was extremely well-received as an instrumental by Major Lazer, and was a massive club hit before Beyonce sampled it. I don't really understand how everybody suddenly hated it so much with her singing over it. I guess maybe a song like that will be popular with club-goers but not with pop/mainstream music fans though as it's got lots of percussion, bass, weird sounds, etc.

Both Chiddy Bang and Diddy I would say sampled it better than Beyonce did though. Especially Chiddy Bang since they sampled Bulletproof by La Roux in the same song, it's so weird.

While we're talking about Major Lazer, they have a brilliant new song that I'm hearing on the radio recently:

It's currently #292 on iTunes.

It's hardly "Domination" when he doesn't have the number one
Good to see The Sats lead increasing. Still shocked to see Brigit hold up so well.

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! After 3 weeks at number 1? more than 3 months at top 20 with the other song? when the album is number 1? OK dude.

I would say Justin is doing something that the Crapadays can only dream of right now

And now we get back to the amazing fact that The Saturdays are #1.

Kworb Update:

1 The Saturdays - What About Us (feat. Sean Paul) 1.0000

2 Justin Timberlake - Mirrors 0.4688

3 One Direction - One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks) 0.3750

eat slugs

Mollie >>>>>>>> The Saturdays >>> (Me) >>>>>>>> All of you and Justin Timberlake.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion don't start biting/dissing each other, and don't forget its not just an iTunes thread for the Saturdays, its for other artists as well. Every time I case this thread its Saturdays this, Saturdays that, ya, ya, ya, ya, etc, etc. :heehee: I know there isn't jack shit out this week and lack of new releases but please have some consideration for other members that are not even fans of The Saturdays. Thanks. Any problems PM me or any other chart mod. [/waitsforgriefcomebackcomment]

God help me, when I post the mid thread tonight for this week -_- :P

Its still very early days!

I can't see anything *already released* threatening the Saturdays now.

Body Count by JT to rise up and smash please *.* damn thats a tune.

2011 - the same year that 'Swagger Jagger', 'Don't Wanna Go Home', 'Notorious' and 'All About Tonight' were released?

I think you're right. Urban Beyonce isn't really that popular in the UK compared to mainstream Bey. For example, 'Countdown' only creeped into the top 40 while 'Love On Top' went top 15. 'Video Phone' (although it's not one of her best) didn't do well as well, even with the GaGa remix.

Buzzjack isn't really the place that would appreciate urban Beyonce though since the likes of The Saturdays are seen as musical Gods on here. -_-
