To be fair, both The Wanted and One Direction released on air, on sale in the US, and they both had songs rank in the year-end top 10 last year, which is better than they've ever done in the UK, and both their songs had enourmous chart runs. It's the UK that's the "problem", since boy and girl pop groups have success everywhere else in the world without having to hold back their songs.

So The Saturdays is the only real note-worthy release this week - certainly the only one in contention for #1.

 

Kodaline should hopefully do well with "High Hopes" and 30 Seconds to Mars supposedly releasing on Tuesday could see them nab a T20/T30.
