December 23, 201410 yr Ooh you were? :o Where were you sat/stood? I got unreserved seating at the top cause I hate standing lmao, managed to get the second row back :D The entrance was absolutely incredible LMAO, baby Sheezus
December 23, 201410 yr Its a big shame this album never got reissued. Some of the unused demo songs are better than tracks which made the album. A missed opportunity.
December 26, 201410 yr Its a big shame this album never got reissued. Some of the unused demo songs are better than tracks which made the album. A missed opportunity. Such a floppy, underwhelming era for her even if the stats do look decent - 3 Top 10 singles and a #1 album.

May 5, 201510 yr 10.0 Sheezus 09.5 L8 CMMR 10.0 Air Balloon 09.0 Our Time 08.0 Insincerely Yours 08.5 Take My Place 10.0 As Long As I Got You 08.5 Close Your Eyes 08.0 URL Badman 07.5 Silver Spoon 07.0 Life For Me 11.0 Hard Out Here 08.0 Wind Your Neck In 10.0 Somewhere Only We Know 10.0 Bass Like Home Adore this album so much. It is nowhere near as good as its not me it's you (but then that's impossible) but I actually prefer it to the 1st album just :o My 3 favourite are the 11/10 moments of jam hard out here, beautiful cover somewhere only we know and kind of country not fair part 2 as long as I got you  I listen to all 3 regularly and they are so amazing  Other highlights for me are Sheezus, air balloon, our time, L8 CMMR and take my place  Has this passed gold certification?
January 24, 20178 yr Hope you don't mind me bumping this but I've started to listen to this again recently. It is such a gem. Our Time and Sheezus will never get old. One of my fav albums of all time
January 25, 20178 yr This album and it's singles were so underrated! How is it only Gold and why did URL Badman only peak at 93?! Hard Out Here should have been at least top 5 and certified too!! Edited January 25, 20178 yr by Juliano
January 25, 20178 yr Author This album and it's singles were so underrated! How is it only Gold and why did URL Badman only peak at 93?! Hard Out Here should have been at least top 5 and certified too!! Awful release strategy! Our Time was released just a week after Air Balloon and then the album came two months later with no lead. By the time URL Badman was released, there was zero interest. 'Sheezus' the song wasn't a good fit for a promo single either. They should've released Silver Spoon. I still love this album. I was so glad she was back. Now I need her to come back again!
January 25, 20178 yr Yep, the releasing schedule was absolutely hideous. What makes matters worse is that the era was in such a good position after the huge success of 'Somewhere Only We Know', but any momentum built from what was almost immediately destroyed. 'Hard Out Here' was a great statement song; very Lily Allen, very relevant, but I think it should have been released in the New Year instead of a week after 'SOWK' and there should have been better consideration taken for the radio edit if they were to indeed push it as an official single. I liked 'Air Balloon' at the time but, in hindsight, I'm not sure it worked as a single. Yes, it was radio-friendly, but it had a very schmaltzy sound to it and I know Lily Allen herself wasn't in support of it being released. Similarly, 'Our Time' was great but just wasn't enough to win people back around. I think the era would have been improved at least somewhat if the record company listened to what Lily wanted to represent the album as I feel, as a result of her lack of control, Lily just didn't put her heart and soul into the era. I remember at the time she just wanted to move on to her next album. The album has some good moments to offer but it does pale in comparison to her first two albums. All the correct ingredients are there but it almost feels as if the album tries to tackle too many issues and there's no flow between the songs. Her previous albums may have explored different topics but it all fitted together so well, whereas this album felt very hit-n-miss/throw-and-see-what-sticks.
