July 2, 201312 yr This will most likely sell less than 30 Days (which is actually quite amusing to me as everyone always bashes 30 Days and it's one of my faves)
July 2, 201312 yr Author The situation is different, their coming off their biggest selling single, realistically this is going to be a massive flop. I'm going to be incredibly worried for single three now and weather the radio will fully support them.
July 2, 201312 yr Although let's be realistic.... if single 3/4 is NGUOL it will smash and revive them ;) Edited July 2, 201312 yr by Juliano

July 2, 201312 yr I'm sorry if this sounds cheeky, but how is that being realistic? You haven't heard the full song yet...

July 2, 201312 yr Whilst it is a disaster, they've recovered from worse before so it may not spell the beginning of the end.
July 2, 201312 yr I reckon Gentleman will now be peaking at 14 on sunday if they dont get a move on up the top 10 iTunes chart.
July 2, 201312 yr My Prediction for gentleman: 11 - 34 - 78 - 97 -100 - 99 - 78 - 32 - 29 - 27 - 28- 22 - 17 - 14 - 15 - 11 - 9 - 5 - 3 - 4 - 2 - 1 - 2 - 3 -4 - 5- 6- 7- 8- 3 - 19 -23 - 49 - 79 -87 - 89 -99 - 100 - OUT How does that sound?

July 2, 201312 yr This is pretty much just doing what Stooshe done with 'Slip'. Slow rise on the Sunday, peak at #10 for a few hours then turn bright red and slowly fall a few places and then eventually plummeting. If I remember correctly 'Slip' also had the same TV airplay roughly and radio play. While 'Gentleman' isn't anywhere near my favourite single by The Sats I'm still a bit gutted at how it's doing so far. I just think the song is far too marmite and that while some people may love it, some people find it hideous. The video really doesn't help either. I'm concerned about how the next single will do airplay wise but if they can recover from Wordshaker/On Your Radar/30 Days they can recover from this. (Although I just hope it doesn't echo Amelia Lily and go from big hit - missing the top 10 - flop single) They need to bloody release the album already! Issues, Ego, Higher were all big hits with chart runs and managed to sell more than most of the pre-album singles and yet they constantly go with this stupid 3 singles before album strategy that NEVER WORKS!
July 2, 201312 yr I don't think 30 days is the OFFICIAL lead single of the album as that would've been the US release, not WBU, otherwise don't you think its a bit weird how it was randomly chosen for a US release. So what we are looking at is an All About Tonight followed by a what do you take me for, and hopefully followed by a kiss the stars which had a bit of longevity and reached #5 on ITunes (#8 officially) to revive the album, like Pixie did for a while before she gave up on the album. July 2, 201312 yr I consider 30 Days a single thst bridged the gap between On Your Radar and the upcoming LP, it'll probably be features as a bonus track like Leona's Collide. I wonder what's going on in Sats camp right about now; the singles been dark red on kworb for many an hour.
July 2, 201312 yr I don't know if it was on here or Popjustice, but someone said that the kworb colours don't really mean anything unless the change is very significant. However, Wild is in red at the moment too, so no one's benefitting from it anyways and the sats are still only 0.1%ish away from The wanted
July 2, 201312 yr They wont make top 10 now, the lead the Wanted would have had on Sunday would mean The Saturdays needed to stay ahead the hole time which they have failed to do. Gentleman at this stage appears to have number 11 wrote all over it
July 2, 201312 yr They may as well just reduce it to 59p if they stay close to The Wanted at #11 on iTunes if they want that top 10 position. Plus physicals but that won't prop them up for the rest of the week. I'd guess #12 come Sunday though if they don't reduce it/don't climb back up. Edited July 2, 201312 yr by Encore
July 2, 201312 yr You never know, it may do an issues, but a lower profile, so it may climb to #10 if they reduce its price. Par example, Kiss the Stars was reduced to 59p, went all the way upto #3 before sinking back down the next week to #5 and then out of top 10, as they turned it back to 99p
