Thought I would make a thread for him apparently according to Digital Spy the first single is coming in May with the Album in June. I hope the single part is true but I don't think he should release the album so early. He's been working with Amy Winehouse producer Salaam Remi.

The Album apparently has a R&B feel to it with personal themes and also a Boyz II Men vibe. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a46...um-in-june.html Really looking forward to this if this is the direction he is going in for his album.

I've been looking forward to it since he was announced as the winner, but I don't think he should have to wait until the usual November slot to release the album. If it's ready, and there's good material on it, why shouldn't he go for it? :D Can't wait for another single from him!

Album in June = guaranteed flop.

To be fair, the reason he's releasing so fast could because didn't he have loads of songs already written before he went on the show? He's possibly just been reworking them and recorded new songs with some big producers.

Yeah, that's true. He did have a lot of ready material, so he could be incorporating most or all of that on the album.

I agree with this plan I think he's playing at V Festival as well so I think a new single should be coming just in time for that.

He is in the studio with Labrinth today according to his twitter I'm glad there actually working together :D I think he has worked with Naughty Boy as well.

Btw, I think it could be smart to release this album in June. Impossible was massive, and he seems very much an albums artist. I think X Factor and a third/fourth single (assuming Impossible is going to be considered the lead single) in November would only keep the album selling longer.

Oh I'm sure songs will be guitar based as well . :) He's worked Mike Posner and Labrinth together on a few songs he said on twitter a few days ago.

I think his album will probably be a mixture of different styles as he appeals to different audiences.
