November 12, 201311 yr Whoever is in charge of him needs to get him some lessons in dealing with the press rather than letting him hit self destruct.
November 12, 201311 yr Well it's a personal Twitter account (presuming that's what you're talking about). They can't stop him; nor is he really doing anything wrong. Artist disallowed from having opinions and expressing them on a platform that allows them to do so is a bit eek. Matt Cardle is just as bad. -_-
November 12, 201311 yr Except Matt never said that James' music is for bedwetters, nor did he ever say that James woud send his fans to sleep with his music :P Everything Matt has said is true. James goes around slagging him off and saying the male winners never do well yet he sells less with his debut than Matt did and he had a much bigger single to launch it.

James goes around slagging him off and saying the male winners never do well yet he sells less with his debut than Matt did and he had a much bigger single to launch it. Well James is of course entitled to his own opinion :P Over time, James' album will probably go on to sell more copies than Matt's début ever will, and he'll probably stand the test of time as an artist and not just fade out of existence after one and decide to go independent.
November 12, 201311 yr My point was that Matt didn't slag James off, whereas James decided it was fine to insult Matt and his fans. James has a truely hideous personality. And there is nothing wrong with going independent, Matt wanted to continue making music, he did, and good for him.
November 12, 201311 yr James annoys me more and more each day - it is like he is obssesed with Matt. Why mock his 3rd album when you can't even compare? He released his album independently so it is a whole different game for him - he wasn't backed by major promo and Syco's pat on the back. Plus, when James mentioned about going head to head with Eminem - well, Matt went head to head with Noel Gallagher so that was also a huger deal. Why does he always sound like such a prick, Matt even said he wished him well. Who knows if he will get to the 3rd album, his ego is off the scale - he and Kanye West should be best friends. James has talent, but he rubs people the wrong way, no wonder why many actually truly hate him. Edited November 12, 201311 yr by zeze88
November 12, 201311 yr Oh please, as if Matt actually "means him well" - that's him just trying to act smart and talk as if it'll all come crashing down the same way it did for him soon (it won't). Anyway, bought the ASDA slipcase edition of this tonight, so glad to finally have it! Prism, ARTPOP and Union J were all STARING at me, but I resisted temptation
November 12, 201311 yr You have NO way of knowing James wont end up going down the same path as the other male winners, just because he duetted with Her Royal Boringness Emeli Sande doesn't mean he is destined for success y'know. Matt doesn't go around slagging people off, I think its more believable that he does mean James well than it is for James to think the same, not that he would.
November 12, 201311 yr He probably won't, though. He has incredibly fresh talent that the public actually WANT, and has the potential to, over time, become an immensely credible artist. Matt retaliating to all of these comments made by James too doesn't exactly make him the better person. Grabbing that media attention while he can :kink:
November 12, 201311 yr He has somrthing the public want right now, they are very fickle and might not even want what he offers in the future. Lots of artists had potential but then sank into irrelevence, there is no reason why he wont folow them. Matt responded to what James had said, he didn't resort to being childish and insulting his fans.
November 12, 201311 yr I wouldn't really call actually having an opinion about people in the same industry as you, and having the balls to confront them with that (which most artists seem to LACK these days), childish. The only people this will have enraged are Matt fans who won't have a bad word / the truth spoken about him, or people who don't deem James' views to be on their own wavelength.

He's being rude and tries to bring Matt down. That's childish. He should let the music speak and stop trying to get attention via Matt. And I'm not even a fan of either Matt or James
November 12, 201311 yr Calling Matt's fans "bed wetters" isn't childish to you? The fact that James can't express his opinions without resulting to childish insults show that he shouldn't be quite so expressive with them.
November 12, 201311 yr Calling Matt's fans "bed wetters" isn't childish to you? The fact that James can't express his opinions without resulting to childish insults show that he shouldn't be quite so expressive with them. It wouldn't be my first choice of words if I were to insult Matt fans, but at the end of the day he's entitled to his own opinion. I'm not going to judge him based on that (it's basically the near-same to Miley Cyrus but to a lesser extreme - he is receiving media attention continually because he isn't afraid to be outrageously expressive about how he feels, different to what would be considered 'normal', even if Twitter arguments are far from abnormal, and because Matt himself can't keep his fingers away from the keyboard and be the bigger person). He obviously has a clear message to previous male winners of The X Factor and has the confidence that in having a different and more fresh style to them he can go on and be more successful than they are/were. It's not vindictive at all, it's just competitiveness. If my memory serves me though, James only made a series of tweets after Matt made a few 'comments' about him; so in the end standing up for himself and standing his ground.
November 12, 201311 yr You criticise Matt in your post for not being the bigger person and keeping away from his keyboard but then you defend James' comments and say he is just standing up for himself. Also, you defend James by saying he is just expressing his opinion.....what was Matt doing when he made his comments then? You need to stick to your own opinions, it wasn't that long ago that you were looning for Loving You and saying you were excited for this album but now you seem to be bad mouthing Matt and his fans.
November 12, 201311 yr I love that Calum actually believes that people can say whatever they want about people and then hide behind the 'its just my opinion' excuse. It's like if I went into the street and told someone they were a 'f***ing re****' and then said 'it's ok though because that's my opinion'. Seriously, if you're going to defend the most hideous star out there, please come up with a decent argument.
November 13, 201311 yr Author The next single is Recovery Apparentley which I think is a good choice one of the best on the Album .
