Hmmm... probably. I can't see any other reason.

 

I guess I got into it because I heard the snippet of Get Lucky and it just sounded so comforting and nostalgic and I'd been getting into Chic in the previous few months. So, I was already predisposed to the laid back sound and then when I heard the album it repaid that anticipation in spades. I only really like a handful of the tracks at this stage.

 

Motherboard and Contact are the most interesting tracks but Instant Crush and Within are as good - if a little more conventional.

Hah, cool but not very impressed with the song/set whatever it is.. I get that its not meant to be a remix in any way but have to say its just plain boring :/

Ha guess so. Its not that I dont appreciate downtempo or chillout, its just that this one doesnt do it for me... ps man theres a lot of get lucky remixes aout there :o

They have started coming from today, with the opening track;

 

So.... Today marks 10 years of this masterpiece's existence. I have only grown to love this record more and more with time. Anyway, 'Infinity Repeating' has a great video and sounds fantastic. It came from the 10th anniversary edition, released last Friday.

 

I gave the album a listen (minus the new bonus material) this week and it has certainly aged very well, it sounded better than I remember it being ten years ago.

 

Touch has particularly stood out a bit more since its usage for the farewell announcement.

A 'Drumless Edition' of the album will be released on 17th November, headed up by a wonderful version of Within
