'Gentleman' is the one that sounds like 'The Way You Watch Me', isn't it?

I'm gonna predict it'll do well. Not an album seller though, so if it is 3rd single, release a fourth before the album, for the sake of the album.

It sounds promising to me, and the little clip is very memorable. It's been going around in my head for days!

I agree that it sounds like it's potentially risky, but it's extremely early days, so I'll keep faith until we have a full version to judge. (Assuming it is the single)

I just really hope they'd don't kill their momentum with this single in their typical fashion, especially because for the first time they have the opportunity to properly make it big time.
I bet if they tell everyone that it was made in america and stuff, it'll begin to get lots of hype like what about us! But I think the better thing to do was to release the album now so that the WBU effect can hopefully bring it some sales. Since, if gentleman flops and they release the album then, WBU's effect will have stopped and gentleman won't be able to give them any sales, album-wise eg. Tulisa (#1 with young +Flop with Live it Up = Flop Album) , Pixie Lott (#1 All About Tonight + What do you take me for (flop) = Semi-flop Album and Jennifer Lopez (#1 ON The floor + #9 I'm into you = Minimum album success) However, the problem with JLO was that On th floor wasn't exactly an album-seller

Tulisa and Pixie both released their albums in the Christmas rush, and there were up against bigger releases (like the girls with On Your Radar). The Sats are releasing this album in the spring/summer. Big difference, even if it's just a higher peak and their normal first week album sales (18-22k) like with Headlines' release in the summer. Album sales are more important, but a higher peak will help them with people's perceptions, rather than going in top 20/just outside and having the press reports saying they're over like they did with OYR at #23.

awkward when PSY's new song has the same title XD
I suppose, but that doesn't guarantee it's gonna be a hit though Encore

A voice over on a 4music count down said that this was the next single, and that they were getting body doubles for the video.

I didn't warm to the snippet until hearing it for the 2nd time. I hope the video is badass, although I remember thinking Ego was going to be this fierce, epic, special effects fiasco (don't ask why, I don't know either) but I was underwhelmed. Obviously now I appreciate it a hell of a lot more. :)

Ah when do you think we'll hear the 2nd single? :) I need new music!

I'm really hoping these doubles are for stunts, otherwise I'd be so disappointed

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that in the video the girls "see themselves" and instead of making computer generated clones they went with doubles instead. My guess is that the girls catch their exes or significant others with another girl that looks exactly like them. I could be way off, but that could be cool ^_^

Yeah we had an article about it. It could be interresting, we'll see!

Rylan Clark: A gentleman is so 1995 , so hard for a guy to find ........

is this not the lyrics :D

From a website

“Gentlemen” is a song recorded by British pop girl band The Saturdays. The track is confirmed as the second official and third overall single taken from their upcoming fourth studio album rumored to be called “The Chase” that’s scheduled for release this Summer via Fascination, Polydor, Mercury Records. The release of the single and its promotion have had to delay until June (or early July) after the maternity leave of one of the band members Rochelle Wiseman, who is expected her first child after marrying a member of the boy band JLS, Marvin Humes in 2012.

On 31 March 2013, British tabloid newspaper The Mirror, published an article in which they reported how body-doubles of the five girls had been cast to appear in the music video for the song. The song is expected to release on digital retailers on late-June. This will be the first single from the band after winning their first number one in the UK single chart. Will they manage to repeat the success?

Grammatical errors kinda dampen the likelihood of that being true and it's pretty much reiterating whats already been said/thought. :)
Yeah the late June/early July has only been what me and a couple of people have assumed. It was never said by any of the girls. Plus we know the album isn't called The Chase.

Here is my opinion :)

.

Am I the only person thats slightly worried about this being the riskiest track they've released yet? Right at the moment it seems like the most stupid idea they've had. Just had a number 1, on top of their game, about to drop an album and they change their sound right before it. It's an easy way to alienate fans. Wordshaker calling!! I'm not saying its going to be a disaster but I think trying something different has already proved to be a fail for them before.

.

I dont wanna seem like an arse, and I hope I'm wrong.

I fully agree. This is reminding me of Pixie Lott's Young Foolish and Happy campaign. Number one followed by an r&b track what is most likely going to flop. Not Giving Up On Love so far sounds like the most sensible single to lead the album. I like their trying to be risky but they can't afford to take risks when their previous album flopped as have 2/3 singles.
