Of course 'Gentleman' was always going to be a risk, I think their main aim was to bring in a new audience, they could have been predictable and went with another generic pop /dance track, I do applaud them on going edgy for the first time in five years.

I'm not sure how the song will do in the charts on how their airplay is going to be, I'll start to worry if it's not top 100 on Airplay next week though as The Wanted (out a week before) are #12 on Radio Airplay and John Newman - Love Me Again is #84 and Lawson out a week after them is #94.

'Ego' hate exists!? WHAT KINDA FUCKERY IS THIS?!

I've always loved 'Ego'. I remember when I first heard it I had it on repeat all day and didn't even bother listening to the rest of the Wordshaker album because I loved it so much. It brings back alot of memories and to this day I still think it's their best song.

Gentleman's my fav song now from them! :o But i agree, its a bit stupid to start panicking over a song that still has a month to be released. Gentleman being on 600k + views is great considering minimum airplay so far and it's being noticed without big headings. GA (something new) took a while to get to 1 million before the hype began to rapdily increase. So did WBU ft Sean Paul. That took a while to get to a million but didnt stop wither of them to get into the top 3. Being at #408 is an improvement from what it was before as well.
The WAU video got 1 million views in like 24 hours, but VEVO helped a lot.I don't think Gentleman will be a hit,i just hope it's another top 5 single for them.
I'm watching the Big Weekend thing live and I can see The Sats doing 'Higher' but all I'm hearing is 'Blurred Lines'?

I think Gentleman is doing second best after WAU in terms of YouTube views. Definitely so if we're going by recent singles. 650k views already is pretty good all things considered. Most of their previous singles have taken a lot longer to reach that amount/more with views. What About Us got a million in just over a day but like already said, that was due to the hype of launching in America, people checking them out before the TV show aired and having the Vevo Lift thing plugging the video etc.

We shouldn't be too worried yet. :) I just want another top 5 single. Top 3 would be great but top 5/10 probably more realistic given the other artists releasing around the same time.

Hi5! I've not grown tired of it once since it debuted. I can still put it on repeat without feeling the need to switch the song. :)

A bit of their setlist + the Gentleman routine :

Simple, but I like it.

what a great set. Mollie was flawless vocally and it was great to see some confidence in Ness - she actually did very well (except in AFU lol) particularly in Notorious and WAU.

Notorious had a great beat and I forget sometimes what a friggin wicked single that was!

Getleman was FAB! perfect to perform on TV - I guess it is a better song to perform than some of the dancy numbers because there is more beat as apposed to synths.

LOVE that Roch still was in all the backing vocals, Queen never leaves!

Frankie looked like she would rather have been elsewhere, but oh well, she will be off on a 12 month maternity leave soon!

Can't wait for their first performance with Rochelle again, I hope she gets involved in the Gentleman promotion before it comes out, but I guess thats going to be hard.

Finally, EMOTIONAL at the crowd in WAU - what a great feeling to see them loved like that!

I think they did a good job, but I don't think any of them are fully capable of covering for Rochelle. Una's voice sounds too thin on her lines. I love the fact that I got to hear Mollie rap "I need a DRAKE! I need a LUDACRIS!" but after hearing it I understand why they left her off that part of the song  Frankie did better than I thought but that's probably because I expect very little from her as far as vocals and energy.

Shame BBC3 didn't show the Gentleman performance but never mind (the highlights show showed Notorious, All Fired Up, Higher and What About Us).

I enjoyed the Gentleman performance/routine, wish there was a little more personality in it though. Little things like Una staring at the other girls as she sings 'Not a lady if always on your knees....' and Vanessa pointing to the other girls with her 'if he's cheating on me, he'll probably cheat on you...' like they both do in the video. I do like the routine though, but just think it'd bring it all to life a bit more, and have some more character/personality.

yeah Molls nailed the rap, not in a Queen way, but in a filler way!

Una is great at her parts but she cant hold it like the Queen in Higher or AFU!

I really miss Rochelle now, she really is the best Saturday. One day she and Mollie will do an 'I Know Him So Well'-esque thing and be the next Baby&Sporty <3

I was sad to see Frankie looked like she just doesn't care anymore. My love for Una skyrocketed after this performence too.

What? I thought this was the most excited Frankie had been in a while. She seemed to be giving it everything, despite being pregnant! I was worrying at times that she'd slip or something! (Thankfully she didn't! :P)
