Frankie looks SO much better with long hair. And she didn't seem that bad when singing the high notes towards the end. I think she struggles with the lower notes because her voice just turns so flat.

I still think it was pre-recorded vocals. Mollie's delivery on her chorus line sounded different to her festival performances and Vanessa seemed to be much softer and 'speaking' her chorus line instead of singing it. Plus everything was just too clear and audible, like This Morning and Daybreak performances usually are. Even Vanessa's rap sounded more husky and sexy than it usually does. Oh, and the 'go 90's!' chant soundrd terrible on the other performances and yet sounded really decent today.

i dunno. I want to believe it was live because i thought it was brilliant but it almost seemed too good to be live and they're known for miming the majority of their TV morning shows.

To me, that was a pretty much flawless performance.

Vocals were on point, the choreography was all in time & in sync and they looked like an actual girlband that had properly rehearsed their stuff!

Regardless of what some people say, they were all beautifully styled.. they are not actually gentlemen. Plus, men wear pink.. we're in 2013.

I guess we have to accept that everyone likes different things and has different tastes.. but there's no way that performance was 'terrible' by any stretch of the imagination.

Exactly. Things as styling is a bit a matter of taste, but as far as vocals and routines go, they were on point. Good performance, for the least.

Francesca was great, i think the room was small, hence they were careful, not to bump into each other, some parts were mimed i guess, as it would be hard for them to dance and deliver flawless vocals. Overall it was a good and happy go, performance for casual viewing, rather than trying to watch it to find points of criticism...
I don't think any of them mimed, but we will see if they sound exactly the same with the next performances (aka Frankie and Mollie during the What About Us performances).
It's clear they didin't mime, Frankie towards the end mistimed her " 1995 ".

Well, Frankie did mime her bit after the rap, though, but she always does, so I didn't think about it.

If you listen the performance on Big Weekend, you can hear her singing "so 1999" over the backing track here >

Before that, it sounds strong and all and the second there's no backing track, you hear a really quiet "so 1999".

I don't really mind. It's hard to project your headvoice.

The EP still hasn't broken the top 100. I've been saying all along it will do fine, but even I'm starting to think this will bomb harder than 30 Days/MHTO
I'm gonna say somewhere between 25k-30k. between #10 & #15.

The performance they did on This Morning yesterday was such a good come-back performance for them as a 5-piece.

It was live, no pre-recorded 'lets look like we're actually singing live when we're really miming to other vocal takes from the studio' here. There is no way in hell that that was mimed. There are some low-level vox in the background but that's standard. You can hear that behind Mollie and Frankie in particular, burt it's no biggie.

The routine looked great as a 5-piece too. Outfits weren't fantastic, I don't think they really went together well; maybe that's because so far the outfits they've performed Gentlemen to pre This Morning have been really colourful.

Performing on those sort of shows are always tricky regarding putting on a good performance, because of the lack of space and the environment is completely different. The effect you get from performing a song at a festival or at an arena will be completely different compared to when you perform it on a tv show. Especially when you have no studio audience too.

Overal it was really good.

I back 2A . Are we having the actual 2A here, who actually produces 2A remixes
Have to echo that Frankie was shockingly bad in that performance. I thought Una, Rochelle and surprisingly Vanessa sounded great though :D

Yes; 2A is a god amongst peasants...

;)

Amazing, your 2A edit of Gentleman is simply too good, for fans who don't want the sats to deviate from dance mode.
If only they name checked Joseph Gordon Levitt :( they'd defo be heading for #1.

I couldn't hazard a guess at sales, but I think it will definitely go top 10 - I'll say #7 but it could be anywhere between ~#3-#10 to be honest.

I reckon between 10-15, 25k - 35k sales.
