Nashville proving ABC were right to renew it. For such a serialized show it's done really well to keep bobbing around the 1.7-1.8 region after going down to a 1.6.

 

That is a decent, solid, performance for Nashville. I've fallen a fair bit behind now lol but I can't wait for the DVD to marathon it.

I don't think I've ever seen somebody so crazy and unbalanced as Amy. It's complete insanity you couldn't make this stuff up.

 

I only watched the first 10 minutes so far and I already can't believe it.

Must see TV for anyone! She is comparable to the Westborough Baptist Chruch, it's THAT bad.

Disappointing for Grey's, also down a lot from last year, but it had the unusual competition from AI finale and Office series finale.

Woah, The Office did pretty well. :o But it was THE finale so understandable.

Oh Euphorique, I love how much pleasure you seem to get from the collapse of Idol and I'm right there with you. :D

 

Catching up on Scandal and I've watched 9 episodes since Tuesday night, can see why it's getting so much buzz.

Episode 9/10 of Scandal onwards is pretty much NON STOP AMAZING. Not watched the finale yet but episode 21 was every kind of brilliant know to man.

Some have speculated that the Idol ratings are so far down because the contestants have been less appealing to Middle America than in previous years (ie. all female final four, no country boys playing guitar). I'm not sure there's anything to that theory or if its time is simply over.

 

I think they were pimping a female winner right from the start, so they got mediocre guys on the show that were all booted off pretty soon. But most criticism goes to the judges, Nicki and Mariah. They definitely didn't appeal to the viewers, which I'm not surprised given their ridiculous "feuding" on the show.

Is that a new high for 'Hannibal'? :o (I can't remember what it opened with). I've fallen really behind on it though, will be catching up very soon as I love it. Also, disappointing for 'The Big Bang Theory'. :\ Especially considering they should have got at least a 5.0 for the finale. :(

Hannibal opened with a 1.7 but it'll be adjusted down a fair bit once 15 minutes of The Office are stripped out, I hear it got a 1.0 at 10:30.

 

I watched TBBT live for the first time last night and US TV seems quite a bit different, 4 minutes in and a break already, jeez. :lol:

Yeah! It frustrates me whenever I watch WWE live. There's an ad break every 5 minutes or something. Ridiculous. I know we moan over here during BGT/XF etc.. but I think we've got it much easier than the Americans :lol:

I think Hannibal will end up at about 1.3 which is up on the last few weeks, but then The Office was up by like 1.0.
