To be fair it was always going to drop as Saturdays get shocking ratings. I'm surprised it didn't do worse.

Smash! :(

I still really enjoy it so will stick it out till the end.

Just watched Hannibal and loved it. I hope it somehow builds on the audience it got because it certainly deserves to be a hit. Best new drama this season.

I'm late on this but I just catched up with 2nd series of 2 Broke Girls and it is surprisingly very good! I find myself laughing out loud at some at the jokes.

I kind of gave up on this towards the end of the 1st series, but their humour has really got me this time around. Max and Caroline are a great pair and Andy is a great addition to the show. I heard it's been renewed for a 3rd series, so yay. :)

Good news just me Nikita fans, according to Deadline it's very likely to get a short final 4th season.

I hear creator Craig Silverstein, who has a new pilot, Turn, at AMC, has closed a deal for a final installment of 6-13 episodes. Giving Nikita a final chapter also falls into CW president’s Mark Pedowitz’s goal to give the network’s series with devoted followings a proper ending. Additionally, Nikita ranks as one of the CW’s top series on social media and, because of its brand, has been a strong international seller for producing studio Warner Bros TV.

I don't see the point in a short final season when it would be so close to 88 episodes for syndication but since S2 had 23 episodes I guess a 13-ep season would be alright and leave it at 80. I'm just glad it'll get another season (and TVline says it ends on a big cliffhanger).

What is exactly the syndication thing about? I've read about it on several occasions but never really understood it...

If you look on your TV planner now you'll see episodes of old shows that no longer air, repeats of crime dramas like Bones on 5 USA and stuff like that. That's syndication in action. It's just the airing of repeats on a different network.

People talk about 88 episodes or "If it's renewed for a third season it'll get a four for Syndication reasons". If you take the typical US TV show, it airs 22 episodes a season. Over four seasons that gives you the 88 episode figure. It is estimated to be the minimum number for 'stripped syndication'. Which is airing an episode every night of the week from Monday-Friday. Anything under this and you end up repeating yourself too often. A lot of studios will sell a 4th season of a show very cheaply to the network to get enough episodes for syndication. This is because it's a goldmine. Studios make hundreds of millions selling shows into syndication each year. If a network owns the studio that makes the show, like Fox does with Bones, then the network benefits from the syndication revenue and factors it in when they decide if they are going to renew that show or not.

Hope that helps!

I also thought it'd get a 22 episode order. I don't think any new TV show would do better than Nikita on Fridays, to be honest. Look at Cult.

Tuesday:

4.2 The Voice

2.6 NCIS LA

2.6 NCIS (season low)

2.2 New Girl

1.9 DWTS (results season low)

1.8 Hell's Kitchen

1.6 Ready For Love

1.5 The Mindy Project

1.5 Golden Boy

1.4 Body Of Proof

1.2 Splash (series low)

0.6 Hart Of Dixie

Cult has been cancelled! What a shocker...

Finals:

4.4 The Voice

2.7 NCIS LA

2.7 NCIS

2.0 DWTS

1.9 Hell's Kitchen

1.5 Ready For Love

3.8 Modern Family

3.2 American Idol

3.0 Criminal Minds

2.6 Survivor

2.5 How To Live With Your Parents

2.4 CSI

2.0 The Middle

1.8 Nashville

1.8 Suburgatory

1.2 Dateline

That's another solid result for Nashville, lets just hope the episode is better than last weeks clusterf***.
Gutted that Nikita will be ending, but I'm glad they are going to give it an actual closing as opposed to leaving us hanging. I hate it when they do that with shows, completely unfair to the viewers.
Excellent! Need to watch episode 2 yet, but I really enjoyed the first episode. Seems like the perfect show to fulfill the 'Dexter' void I will have after September!

I just can't handle how good Season 3 is. Nikita is definitely the best show on the CW right now. If they give it a great ending it'll be among my favourite series ever!

Smash scored a 0.4 with 1.8m viewers. A Body of Proof repeat tied it in 18-49 but scored 0.5m+ more viewers!
