God knows where they are going to put it.

I'd imagine it'll be Friday bound for S6. Bones may be lower rated but it earns too much ad money for a Friday slot.

Why should any of the 2 move to Fridays? Fridays are to burn off shows that don't have syndication rights yet (Touch, Happy Endings, Nikita etc). Bones and Glee would never move to Fridays even if they got a 1.2.

I don't know if episode counts have been specified so depending on how S5 does I could see them making S6 into only 13 episodes.

But doesn't Glee also bring in a lot of ad money still? It continues to do well among teens and A18-34 which can also be very appealing to advertisers from what I've read.

There isn't enough spaces on Fox for them not to start shipping something off to Friday. Unless they finally wield the axe on US XFactor/AI or move into the 10pm hour.

Idol is far from the monster it once was and The X Factor was never that great, could they start cutting Wednesday down to 90 minutes and put a comedy on after? Live performances shows may need to go back to 2 hours for a bit but that avoids having to repeat whatever comedy they put there.

Otherwise, new drama with Bones on Monday whilst The Following is held for midseason, Glee either stays put or returns to Tuesday, if it stays where it is then two new comedies on Tuesday and if it moves put them on Thursday instead. Raising Hope could be Friday bound, so could Mindy but she could be held for midseason, possibly being moved in early if something else tanks.

Comedy Central have cancelled Futuruama

Saddest cancelation of 2013

Very pleased to see 'The Mentalist' up 0.2 from the last couple of episodes. Hopefully with next weeks episode being the penultimate episode before the finale, it can manage to crawl back up to a 1.7 and end the season on a 2.0+!

About time 'Futurama' was cancelled. Just like 'The Simpsons', it's one of the most overrated and unfunny shows I have ever seen. I do prefer it to 'The Simpsons', but only in a "lesser of two evils" sort of way.

I wouldn't mind calling The Simpsons or Family Guy overrated but Futurama really isn't.

The Simpsons hasn't been funny in over a decade, not properly anyway. Futurama is brilliant though, perhaps not every single episode but more consistently so than Family Guy over the last few years.
Oh I think some of the classic episodes are hilarious, like the one where Homer becomes waste commissioner or whatever it is. It's really hard to compare it to the likes of Family Guy/Futurama/American Dad anyway as the target audience of the humour is very different.
Oh yeah! They all appeal to very different people. I personally prefer Family Guy. I'm working my way through the seasons the now and am about to start the fifth one!
That's around the time when it was best, for me anyway 4-6 are all very very good. American Dad is S5-7 for me, though I do think it's probably the slightly better show all told. Season 6 is almost wall to wall brilliant - including the best episode (imo) Bully For Steve.
I have the 1-9 box set so I'm just trundling through that. Haven't really got into American Dad yet, it's way way way low down on the priority list.
AD >>>>> Futurama >>>> Family Guy >>>>>>>>>> The Simpsons
