The A1 and Eternal episode was great! So much DRAMA. I haven't seen the first episode though as I don't really have any interest in any of the groups bar these two, so YAY at them being in the same episode

It does really make you think whether times are different now? Little Mix seem like they genuinely get on, or they're very good actresses. Same with OneDirection, although wasn't there something about Harry wanting to go in a different direction to the others (or label, I forget) or something? I wonder if that's caused any tension behind closed doors.

I can see Neon Jungle being on a show like this in about 15 years time  Especially as they are "four solo singers, who were put together by the label" or something. I imagine they have some stories to tell already!

A1 have been back together since 2010?

Not too sure if I'm sold on 5th Story... I want to know why Kenzie didn't want to get back with BS, or Dane with his group.

The concert was really really good, I'll post my review up here when I'm done. I will say one thing though, performance of the night by a mile was I Wanna Be The Only One by Eternal, and yes...BeBe Winans!!!

And here is the review:

http://poplovedance.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02...ive-review.html

The setlist was:

A1 - Take On Me

Eternal - Stay

5th Story - Freak Me

Damage - Ghetto Romance

Girl Thing - Girls On Top

3T - Anything

5th Story - I Can Make You Feel Good

A1 - Caught In The Middle

Damage - Wonderful Tonight

Girl Thing - Roar

3T - I Need You

Eternal - Don't You Love Me/Power Of A Woman

5th Story - Flip Reverse/Crossroads/I Breathe Again

Girl Thing - Last One Standing

Girl Thing - Pure & Simple

3T - Stuck On You

3T - Anything

A1 - Everytime

A1 - Same Old Brand New You

Damage - Forever

Damage - Love II Love

Eternal - Someday

Eternal feat Bebe Winans - I Wanna Be The Only One

5th Story - Spirit In The Sky

Also, I couldn't help but notice the stage was either the same or very similar to the one The Saturdays had on All Fired Up Tour.

It was awkward tonight when at the start the bands got read out and Girl Thing got silence. So when they came out for the third time I screeched loudly for them.

so wish i could have gone to the gig. i was mad on A1 when i was around 12 years old. i remember i saw them at a few local radio gigs, and we went on a school trip to birmingham nec and saw them there too. my friend & me stayed at the stage all day so we'd be at the front for them, my first ever on-the-barrier experience! we were supposed to look around at all the different exhibitions but i just wanted to see A1 lol. i can't remember who else was there, i know atomic kitten were but i forget the other people. i have photos somewhere. But i never got to see them just on their own. 12 year old me is very happy A1 are back, i'm guessing there will be a big reunion tour, and i'm hoping for A1 uk tour as well :D
Why are they not acknowledging that A1 have been back together since 2010?

Same reason as last year they skimmed briefly over Blue doing Eurovision. The fact Atomic Kitten had 10 singles with Jenny and only 4 with Kerreh and Jenny was just a footnote on the Atomic Kitten. They also skimmed over 5ive doing a 4our previously just with a different four than were in the Big Reunion. They also skimmed over the twins from B*Witched failed attempt as a duo. It doesn't help sell the story of they haven't spoken or communicated since they split.

Eternal's reunion was shockingly tame, seeing as the fax sacking was such a HUGE thing in the media at the time!

'We were wrong, sorry Kelle' *hugs and smiles*

Not quite the fireworks of the notorious Steps reunion and Lisa's crocodile tears was it

Yes the Eternal reunion was a bit tame. It was all very friendly. I think Esther and Vernie are coming well out of the show. They seem nice and not b*tchy.

However I don't understand why they both had to apologise to Kelle and Kelle just had to sit there and accept their apology. Surely Kelle should have apologised also, for not recording with them, for not communicating with them and for staying in the band just for money. Communication is a two way thing.

Anyway I'd love for Eternal to tour again. Maybe even a new album!

I see their Greatest Hits was back in Irelands Top 100 on iTunes. Has that happened in the UK?

I also noted how Kelle didn't seem to feel the need to apologise for her own behaviour! Unless she did and it didn't make the edit for some reason.

coolmarc will be at the front at the tour giving it some to Trouble, their CULT HIT

The revelation for me from this series (other than Easther from Eternal being WOW *.* level amazing vocally still) is Girl Thing's album. I wasn't at all fussed on Last One Standing or Girls On Top so never bothered hunting out their album. But practically every song on it is fantastic Cheiron-style pop. Can't believe it's taken me 14 years to listen to it! I couldn't recommend it any more to any fan of late 90s Britney/BSB/N*Sync/Robyn stuff!
A Big Reunion tour has been announced, but it only includes the boy bands from Series 1 & 2 [Five, 911, Blue, A1, 3T, Damage, 5th Story]. :( It's probably a good idea tbh, it certainly has more potential for success than a Series 2 tour, but it's rather harsh on Eternal and Girl Thing!
