Album is probably gonna drop like a stone next week.

really pleased with the irish position,aphrodite peaked at number 5 here so kiss me once has managed a higher peak.

Only 22K... sales is a bit disappointing...

Yes the sales are very underwhelming. Thought she would sell double. She has been working very hard to promote but press interviews aren't the same as appearing on chat shows to sing or talk about the album. The Voice filming commitments in Aus must be draining. How does she cope with those flights. That said, her profile is super high and so that will give her more opportunities to keep the album in the spotlight on prime time TV for much longer.

Kiss Me Once currently number 1 on Amazon mp3 at 4.99....

 

I am hoping she can sneak 30k but probably 27-28k

 

still hopefully The Voice Promo will keep it top 10 next week.

Kiss me once is unlikely to shift 50% of the amount Aphrodite did in its first week and given her high profile on the voice and change of management, I think its pretty underwhelming. I'd be interested for someone to clarify the first week sales for her other Parlophone studio albums. I think they were something like this;

No body except her big fans know she has an album or single out.......there has been hardly any cross over sales yet....... she needs TV promo and lots of it, but this album will still be around next year and will get a Brit Award nomination etc. It will be repackaged for Tour Edition and extra songs added probably a few collabs with Will I AM etc... relax

 

Lets see how many sales it has in its longevity rather than just 1 week..........

The 'Sexercise' video completely got me. I thought the song was very 'meh' but it has made me fall in love with it completely. It definitely has something in the vibe which is similar to the likes of 'Slow' and 'Chocolate' :wub:

I have been reading all your comments for years now and at this point feel compelled to join in. I have been a fan of Kylie's for 27 years now every since those Neighbours days. The point about being a fan is to embrace and love all the work that she does. Kiss Me Once sales - who cares - she has created her longevity the industry respect Kylie and there will always be something exciting on the horizon for her. Another point is that the awareness of Kiss Me Once is a global one not just UK based - Kylie has already secured a Number 1 in OZ and there will be solid sales across many countries. Lets enjoy the KISS ME ONCE year and all that this has in store - more videos - TV shows - remixes - new vinyls and of course the TOUR !!! The music is excellent and sounds really fresh a move that was needed and is sterling start from ROC Nation - keeping Kylie, Kylie whilst still moving it forward. Sexercise is a WOW whilst Into The blue is such a perfect Kylie Song - now go back listen to the music and enjoy without the worry :)

Good News all Kylie Fans..... Into The Blue is returning like a Phoenix.....

 

its up from 31 to 23 on ITunes already since Sport Relief and I think we may see a Into The Blue/Sexercize mash up on The Voice tonight......

 

I think it could stay top 25 now tomorrow in the Charts and hopefully a couple more weeks top 40 :)

 

Next Saturday will all be about Beautiful..... both Kylie and Enrique will be on BBC Radio 2 with G Norton and then pretty sure a Voice performance later in the day.......

I agree sales have dropped but her sales will be less than half of Aphrodite and I think the album will fall after this week as there is very little to keep it going right now. Unless the next single performs better then I think this album is going to bomb. I admire your optimism but I can't see there will be much longevity with this album right now unless there is a major turn around in promotion and fortunes for the future singles.

I think you will see Into The Blue stay around for a few more weeks and Beautiful will be all over the place next Saturday too.....

 

Aphrodite had promo galore, absolutely everywhere.....

 

Kiss Me Once will do OK .

So Mr President is quite the grower, those verses are really something. Chorus still a little flat for me.
