It's not just you, sometimes it works first time, but usually it takes quite a few refreshes to persuade it to load properly. It may well cheerfully say on the page that if it doesn't load properly just hit reload, so they are obviously aware of the problem, but that's been there for a while, are they doing anything about it?

The pre-order is consistently very close to Demi's pre-order now, plus it has Capital playlisting so I would be surprised to see it miss the top 10. I hope it goes top 10 anyway! :D

I will be gutted if 'Slip' misses the top 10.

 

At the moment I'd say Chris Malinchak is looking for #4 at the highest officially this week. Such a shame. :(

When I first heard 'Slip' it sounded like a massive hit in waiting. I still think it'll do well when released. Just because Radio 1 haven't playlisted the track means nothing. 'Moves Like Jagger' and 'Start Without You' both did well without Radio 1 support. Capital TV have been playing the video to 'Slip' so it's getting support from other commercial radio stations.

 

Doubt it'll be #1 but I'll be very surprised if it isn't top 5.

Slip has had big promotion on Youtube as well. They have the entire music video as an advert (you can skip it after 5 seconds, but I like the song so I listen to it all the way through sometimes :lol:).

Chris Malinchak, as presicted, is suffering from being held back too long. #1 on EP, #6 and then #18 (?) should still guarantee a T3 placement; but it's not looking to be an overall big seller.

 

I'm disappointed really, the version on iTunes doesn't sound like the radio/video edit, despite being labelled 'Radio Edit'.

I think it is more likely with it being held back for release for such a long time and losing out on sales due to streaming/illegal downloading.

 

Daft Punk was released straight away and look how well that is selling. OA/OS is always the best way!

^^ Exactly right there's only so many who will preorder a song then wait a month to get it, songs should be released straight away so someone can buy it when they like it, if its good enough it will rise to no1

 

As streaming becomes more popular OA/OS will become prevalent more and more apart from a few boybands/pop acts and we are already seeing it this year!
