I really hope Higher gets a boost from a major television program this year (Xfactor COUGH) It's so close to 300,000 sales which is quite frustrating... 293,000. Is it still in the top 1000 on iTunes?

I really wish Higher had at least double the sales it does have. It's one of my favourite songs ever. It shouldn't be struggling to hit 300k
I wish The Sats could have a major hit. 300K'ish is good, but some acts can clear that no problem these days. I'd love The Sats to have a Gold single.

SATURDAY DOWN!

In shocking news The Saturdays did a gig today for something or other, and they were a member short. In actualy shocking news Mollie and Frankie were both present. Vanessa was absent for some reason.

Also seen a couple of rumours that Una is pregnant...

A member down again?! Again?!

My hunch is that Vanessa has lost her voice. They mimed to some dodgy pre-recorded vocals on This Morning the other day after they'd done a live performance fine on Tonights The Night.

I thought the vocals on This Morning were better than some on TTN, especially Frankie's.

Is anyone able to send me the Up and Issues radio edits? They're the only ones I need. Please either post or PM me if you can, and I'll PM you with my e-mail address. Thanks if you can! :) (I'd be happy to send songs back if you'd like)

I've never heard of an artist to have illness or injuries disrupt their touring and promotion as much as the girls do.
If Una was pregnant that would be awful for Saturdays but great news for herself though and would no doubt mean a break for The Saturdays.

On the subject of girl group pregnancies... it's been a while since a girl group had a member become pregnant during the height of their careers. It used to be quite common!

All Saints - Mel was pregnant hardly a year into their success!

Spice Girls - both Victoria & Mel B became pregnant two years into the group's success, while on tour.

Atomic Kitten - Kerry Katona after 1 year, leaving because of it. Then only a year later Natasha became pregnant too.

Sugababes - Mutya, who ended up leaving the group due to a bout of post-natal depression, and feeling her priorities had changed.

Girls Aloud really bucked this trend, no pregnancies, not even two years after their hiatus. I'm glad The Saturdays have followed suit, up to now (I'm clearly jinxing it with this post, rofl). I'd be thrilled if Una became pregnant... but maybe not until after a couple more albums?

YES! Gosh, there's always something wrong with one of them. Rochelle seems to be the only stable one, lol.

They mentioned in their latest 'All Fired Up At...' (used to be Behind The Headlines) that Vanessa hurt her ankle or something.

In unexpected news. X Factor AUS used The Sats version of Just Can't Get Enough in episode 5 of the new series for about 2minuets :o

Speaking of X-Factor...

Notorious was used on last nights Xtra Factor, and the intro to Work was also played. A few weeks ago they also played Just Can't Get Enough for a while, too.

iTunes updates....(21:51)

4. All Fired Up - The Saturdays

217. Notorious - The Saturdays

Wow at how good Higher is doing, I think it will pass 300,000... It's on 295,000+ now.

Why's Missing You so high?
