Maybe they were just simply at the same studio on the same day. Would have been amazing though.

There's a poll on Yahoo! asking who should replace Tulisa on The X Factor and Frankie's one of the choices. She's in last place :(

Sorry to be a pain but I was just wondering what the purpose of this thread is? Eventhough I've posted here I've never really got the gist of it. Thanks :)
It's just like a general thread, where we can discuss pretty much anything.

Thanks for deleting my reply x

I contacted the own of a site which tracks charting positions all over the world (mostly official charts, but also airplay charts if they don't have an official one) and he added a section for The Saturdays

It's not complete yet as he's still adding the albums but the What About Us charting positions are complete

On that note I would not recommend reading through the 'If This Is Love" thread. Good god.

WOW it has done quite well :D

Official Positions

United Kingdom - #1

Scotland - #1

United Arab Emirates - #4

Ireland - #6

Peru - #18

Israel - #21

Sri Lanka - #21

Lithuania - #23

Canada - #79

Slovakia - #97

United States Of America - #128 (I think)

The US position is based on the US Digital Songs chart which takes into account exactly what it says. :) No entry onto their main chart, the Billboard Hot 100 though.

"CallumTheSats" (who I seem to recall also posts here) seems to have had something of a meltdown on Popjustice.

HAHAHAHAAHA SOME CRAZY SATS FAN HAS LITTERED RIHANNA'S WIKI PAGE WITH SATS COMMENTS! Queen Rochelle at her finest I'm guessing. Well she's gotta do something whilst on maternity leave I suppose.

In response to which somebody did some digging in the wiki edit history and found:

20:37, 3 April 2013‎ Callum **** (talk | contribs)‎

To which Callum says:

I suggest we all do this on the FAMOUS people's wiki pages, what better publicity than the sixth most viewed site on the internet right? In my defence, I AM a crazy Sats fan, I mean we're all crazy Sats fans tbh. We sit around making Sats alter egos, crying over the success, ranting over their stupid mistakes, drooling over All Fired Up and White Lies, you gotta love our fan base!

BRILLIANT. He even used his real name to edit the page!

I can't with this  Callum, that's the type of "promotion" that makes people hate them. You are not doing them any favors! I am 99% confident you're behind the new Quen Rochele Twitter too. Thanks for the laugh though.
Jark, who are you on the forum? And is that really very necessary? I'm just fed up of this whole US venture taking so long do I though if someone like Rihanna's wiki page could be edited why not publicise the Sats? But it got removed almost instantly :( oh well. Can't blame a guy for trying. Oh yeah and I'm honestly not anything to do with either of the Quen Rochele accounts, I wish I was thought, they're so funny.

*Anxiously waits for someone to post the Grand National performance*

I'm always intrigued to see how well Vanessa has sung with every upcoming performance. She's improved vastly from mid-late 2011 (see Notorious live lounge). :)

Here's What About Us:

I really don't understand the need for Mollie and Frankie to (mime) sing under a backing track. Maybe they're having vocal issues relating to those particular lines.

Edited by MyDecember

Those lines are probably very difficult to sing because they're so low. Not to mention they are moving at the same time and are out of breath so I'm sure that only makes it worse. We know they can nail it acoustically, but they didn't plan very well for these types of performances.

If you worked on the Saturdays' team and had to pick one single to release to US Adult Pop radio, and their career in this format depended on it, which single would it be? For those of you not familiar with this format, here is the current Top 10:

1. Maroon 5 - Daylight

2. Mumford & Suns - I Will Wait

3. Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man

4. Lumineers - Ho Hey

5. fun. - Carry On

6. Kelly Clarkson - Catch My Breath

7. Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble

8. P!nk - Try

9. P!nk - Just Give Me A Reason

10. Justin Timberlake - Suit & Tie

As these types of stations are geared towards adults, they shy away from hip hop and "guilty pleasure" tunes.

Interesting topic!

I think 'Last Call' would probably be best for them. But 'Here Standing' or 'Missing You' would potentially do just as well for them I reckon. It's hard to say really. There's songs I'd like and are "mature" for them, but I'm not sure if they'd cater well to "Adults" (like 'Do What You Want With Me', 'Faster' etc..)

EDIT: Ooh. You've added a poll. I've gone for 'Missing You'. I dunno why exactly, but I just think it'd do well! Also 'My Heart Takes Over' could do well for them with adults. But I'm not sure, again! Probably because it flopped so badly over here :\

Probably Missing You, as a ballad (of sorts) that isn't too cheesy or anything but did well over here. And I agree with Last Call if we're going for album tracks.
