It's called discussing. It's a discussion forum. Don't read if it's annoying you.

That's a bit of a silly thing to say in all fairness.. How can you know you don't want to read it until you've read it?

I'm the forum mod, i read everything. I understand it's a discussion forum, but this is a recurring subject and it's becoming tiresome. You say they're being snubbed but the release of My Heart Takes Over is still a month away, there's still time. And if Pro.Green is on next week then surely that means there is light at the end of the tunnel for The Sats as artists with a smaller profile than them are performing. Don't be so quick to judge.

I am sorry, but last month you were doing the exact same and said the exact same as Shadow did, so please can you stop being a hypocrite.

I'm not going round making personal remarks, so please keep your opinions to yourself if you have nothing positive to say.

I've commented on the subject in the past "month" yes that this is "swings and roundabouts" and that "we'll have to see what happens" but I haven't gone to the level of moaning about other artists getting on xfactor instead of The Sats. I thought I'd even just double check doing a search on my posts and that is all I've said.

It's tiresome reading posts about members bitching about other artists, and that "The Sats are more deserving" or something along those lines. Stop nit-picking about things in the past and focus on the positive input that is going into these topics. I've posted plenty of positive comments that "if artists that have a smaller profile are performing, The Saturdays have a bigger chance" but me being a hypocrite apparently seems to be more important...

Moving on. :)

Question on The Chase just now - "Which girl band has hits with Issues and Notorious?". Anne Hegarty (the Chaser) got the question correct with The Saturdays, of course. ;)

2nd Adventure, I found the list of songs you compiled, it's very useful! However, I can't find this remix anywhere:

"Forever Is Over (Manhattan Clique Radio Edit)"

Does it definitely exist? I can only find these:

"Forever Is Over (Manhattan Clique Mix)"

"Forever Is Over (Manhattan Clique Dub)" - You didn't list this one.

Is this not it?

Nah that's the full length mix! It's the Radio Edit (i.e. around 3 minutes) version that I can't find. Thanks for looking though! :D
Someone found it for me after all, search over! :D
I think I'll put that list on BuzzJack too soon, I think it'll be really helpful!

GREATEST HITS - NOVEMBER 2012

SINGLE 1 - UPTEMPO

SINGLE 2 - DANCEY (Perhaps Notorious?!!)

With On Your Radar you've got to put into consideration that when they where laying the foundations for Notorious to be the first single, they where still recording the album; Half of the tracks didn't even exist when they released Notorious. So for example 'The Way You Watch Me' couldn't have been released first as it wasn't even finished then.

You also have take into consideration that if Wordshaker hadn't of flopped, we wouldn't of had a 'Headlines' type of 'EP' release. It would have most likely been another full-length album with much more choice for single number 3.

The only things I would have done different is..

  • Never of released 'Work' / OR waited 4 months untill releasing the follow-up single from Wordshaker
  • Released 'Ego' as the 1st single from Wordshaker around November 2009
  • The second offering from 'Wordshaker' should have been 'One Shot', maybe followed by 'Forever Is Over' to close the era off
  • Not jumping on the 'on air/on sale' bandwaggon - it killed off Notorious, one of their best singles. The follow up singles may have had more of a chance of being more succesful this way.

Very random but I was listening to 'If This Is Love' and realised the middle 8 was done by Rochelle - The highest i've ever heard her sing. God knows what made them choose her to do it, it's far too high for her, Frankie/Mollie would have been the better choice.

It looks like she struggled here.

If This Is Love still remains one of my favorite Saturdays' tracks.

That video was edited really well too.

HEY HOOO, just when the Saturdays are surviving the biggest flop in their career they have finally grabbed that #1 spot in this thang. They have won with a big margin too, outposting Will Young at #2 by 59%. They have got 1.5k+ posts too. Will is still on fire too, and although he fell under the 1k barrier he's still standing on 900+ posts positions.

The got a number one in Buzzjack as well, shocking that the Sats forum got over 1,500 posts in a month!

I wonder if there's any chance at all the girls could maybe possibly hopefully luckily be up for a nomination at the Brits?

Obviously it'd be the Best Group category, and considering JLS were nominated last year (and they can't be nominated two years in a row, I think?) and there's not much other Groups around (besides Coldplay, The Wanted and One Direction) they might get a nomination at least? I suppose there's a chance all the indy/rock bands will candidates as well, though.

Maybe an outside chance of Best British Single nomination for All Fired Up?
