I really want to see CBS' new show Under the Dome previews look great

I ordered the novel online and should read this before the series starts. I've read great reviews for the book.

The book's really good. Can't recommend it enough. The ending however is bloody awful. I hope they change it slightly for TV.

Oh no why would you do that? How can I read a 800-page book now that I know the ending is bad :(

Isn't that almost always the case with Stephen King's books, though?

Certainly in his later books, although I have the one about the Kennedy assassination with time travel which I mean to read, which apparently is his best book for a long, long time.

The ending is just a bit silly really. I couldn't put the book down, it's terrific, but the ending is a real cop-out and just a bit silly. Regardless of the ending I would read it, there are some brilliant characters and there's so many sub-plots it keeps you thoroughly entertained.

Oh I've been meaning to get 11/22/63. They've been negotiating to make it a series too.

I remember reading they have removed some of the characters in Under the Dome because they were too many.

It is one of those shows that could actually improve their ratings over time, though.
Yeah but if it gets some repeats over the summer it could perhaps grow. I'm not saying it WILL, because that much is true for most shows, but it's possible at least.
It's probably going to stay a summer series tbh. I can see them launching it around the same time if not a little later next year.

Alan Tudyk (Noah) and Rex Lee (Mr. Wolfe) are leaving Suburgatory due to budget cuts :(

Ashley Madekwe won't be back for Revenge S3 either, but does anyone really care for Ashley?

I kinda did care for Ashley in the end. :(

But Noah was my least favourite regular so good riddance there (although I don't like the way ABC are treating Suburgatory - 13 ep order at midseason?! Yet The Neighbors has a place on the fall schedule <_<)

I LOVED Noah this season and his ridiculous Carmen romance and generally being pretty brilliant as a sidekick to George.
Yes at 'Hannibal' getting another season! Such a beautifully shot and directed show. Apparently it has a big online following, so I'm not too surprised it's got another season, but I do think it'll do far better in DVD sales etc..

Revolution finale got a 2.0.

I think it will be ok when it relaunches, I think it's found it's audience. They've learnt a lot from the extended break, I was very impressed with the latter episodes!
