June 4, 201312 yr Come & Get It is FANTASTIC - my favourite of all the recent tracks from Disney alumni. Was it described as a predictable route for Selena earlier on in this thread? I certainly wouldn't have expected a song like Come & Get It with quite tribal feels to it. I think this is a grower, but I can't see myself ever being big on it. It's good, but it does lack oomph - and mid-tempos can have oomph.

Generic pop FTW! :cheer: GYHAB is a good shout for Demi though! But 'Heart Attack' is possibly ahead of it for me. Really LOVING this, after first listen. It's charming and chilled! I love the laidbackness of it and how unpredictable it is for her, especially after seeing the title/artwork etc.. It's quite different in the fact that it is as far from your generic pop, club banger, despite the lyrics claiming otherwise. Reminds me of something from 2004/2005 (No bad thing in my book, the mid-tempo R&B jams those years were fantastic!)

June 7, 201312 yr Author Projected sales are between 180,000 - 200,000, which to an extent is quite disappointing as she's not released in three years, although she's most likely lost a fair amount of fans since Hannah Montana. I guess had it been sent to radio this week it could have done much better, I'm sure 'Can't Be Tamed' opened with 190,000 although that had a live performance and was sent to radio as soon as the song premiered. In better news she should debut top 10 next week :D
June 7, 201312 yr Three years is a lifetime in pop, plus her last era didn't exactly go swimmingly. I think she has her work cut out personally, but she's still a big enough name to make decent debuts.
June 7, 201312 yr Author Yeah, also Miley didn't do any live performances in the opening week unlike Selena & Demi. Debuts at #32 in Ireland, which is quite good as it's only been on sale for 4 days there. Debuts at #25 in New Zealand.
