Its AMAZING, it took me 40 minutes though :( That last level was quite the mindf***.

It was easy  Just need to quickly get onto a block that the shapes aren't moving over and manoeuvre your way back to the TARDIS.

News just in. The trailer for the 50th anniversary episode has just become the first trailer to be shown 125,000,000 times. However, the BBC are still concerned that there might be somebody, somewhere unaware of the anniversary so it will be shown at least another 50,000 times before tomorrow evening.

I took you seriously for a second

I just finished re-watching all the Clara episodes in time for the 50th. I've been too harsh, I actually REALLY enjoyed them the second time!

I'm a huge fan of the programme. I just hate trailers.

Great to hear! She really MADE Series 7 as fabulous as it was. Best companion in a while BY FAR <3

Top 3 companions:

1. Clara Oswald

2. Sarah Jane Smith

3. Donna Noble

God I still need to finish the Clara episodes :(

It's being shown in the cinema today here! And a lot of seats have been bought already. Quite a lot of Dr Who fans here *.*

It's not shown here but I wouldn't be able to go, so thank God  Edit: Probably sounded selfish but honestly it's a relief

Actually can't wait now! :w00t: Just 3 hours to go, but I'll be heading off to the cinema soon! :cheer:
Words do not explain how absolutely beautiful 'An Adventure in Space and Time' was. It really was something special. I don't see what Mark Gatiss was worried about at all - it was a perfect tribute to William Hartnell and how the show came to be. The ending was just simply stunning too, almost reduced me to tears.

Jessica Raine was absolutely fantastic too, really felt her character. David Bradley was great too. Will definitely be buying the DVD.

I just watched it on iPlayer as I haven't watch it, I absolutely agree with you, that was a fitting tribute to William Hartnell, I knew some of his backstory before hand thought and I'm glad they included the booze and cigarettes, plus his health was detriorating at the time towards the end of his reign as Dr. Who. I loved the docu at the end.

Roll on 7:50 :cheer:

I have to wait to watch until tomorrow as X FACK-TOR can only be watched live.

However, a COMPANION RATE, seeing as a rank would be rather ineffective given I like 3 of them equally.

09 Rose Tyler (loved her at first, very sad to see her go, especially given her replacement was dire, then Donna came and I realised she wasn't as amazing as I once thought)

-01 Martha Jones (self righteous, unlikeable cow, who clearly loved herself FAR more than the 10th Doctor loved himself - which is QUITE the statement)

11 Donna Noble (brought an amazing balance of fun, intelligence, wit and just plain brilliance to the role and to the show, easily the best nuwho companion in easily the best nuwho series. The whole Doctor Donna thing coupled with the truly AMAZING end to that series always fills me with so many emotions when I rewatch it, some of the best TV ever made imo)

09 Amy Pond (much maligned, but I loved her general gung-ho attitude and that she wasn't just the pretty girl who spouts crap, but actually a fairly strong and feisty individual. Like a middle class/better educated version of Rose)

07 Rory (fine and dandy really, but totally outshone by Amy)

08/09 (not QUITE sure what to give her yet, in her original episode it would have been a 9, in the Christmas special a 7 and then it would probably be about an 8 for most of the series, bar the end when she totally came into her own I think and the storyline felt justified in playing her up in such a big role)

No. X Factor can wait JOHN.

Completely agree about Donna though. I like that it was actually a friendship they had though and not just another companion-chasing-the-Doctor-because-she-loves-him scenario; and her final moments in the TARDIS in 'Journey's End' were absolutely beautiful.

It wasn't even that that got me, it was when Wilf said to him about looking up at the stars and thinking of him for Donna because she couldn't. Even just thinking about makes me tear up a little. Quite HOW they went from getting the emotions SO RIGHT there to the overbaked mess that was the four specials I do not know.
This has just started in the local cinema! Actually got it before you Brits. HA! :D

So now that The War Doctor has regained the title of The Doctor does that mean that Capaldi is now the 13th and final regular regeneration? I know in the past the Time Lords have granted The Master a new set of regenerations so will that be Capaldi's overarcing story? Oh and lovely to see Tom Baker back

That was a great episode it just felt everything was placed together, the bit I liked was all the Drs. was used in those separate windows with all the tardis revolving around Gallifrey.

And the use of the great Tom Baker at the end, so Peter Capaldi must be the 13th Dr. as the end credits included John Hurt, as the missing Dr.

I'd rather have 'Bieber Fever' tattooed to my forehead than to ever sit through a Doctor Who episode again. What an utterly dull and pointless episode that was. Even Tom Baker's appearance at the end wasn't worth the watch.

Never return to this thread again Liam. <_<

Never return to this thread again Liam. <_<

I'm sorry. :P It was rather disappointing for me: confusing all the way through and when everything was fitted together at the end, it just seemed the producers stuck something together just for the sake of it. :(

Hmmm, Had its ups and downs, A bit like the whole of series 6 and 7 really! If you don't want spoilers, you shouldn't be reading this thread.

I felt for a 50th, it was a bit of a whimper - there wasn't really much of a sense of dread or suspense that made me want to keep watching. This whole Zygons-Queen Victoria storyline felt a bit like a ordinary filler episode and some of the Time War battle scenes looked like they were straight out of Star Wars.

However, I felt that the main storyline about the Doctor forcing to end the war was appropriate - Matt, David & John were really good together as was the spiritual Rose. The final fifteen minutes with all the tardises and the Doctors (that brief shot of Capaldi took me by surprise) just got me a little bit emotional.

All in all it was patchy and really should've been a lot better, but overall quite enjoyable. Expecting quite a bit for Matt Smith's final chapter. I'm guessing now that Gallifrey is still out there, that that will become a focal plot point?
