Wow, absolutely adore that b-side! :wub:

No surprise at it not being on iTunes, would be nice if it was released on Sunday here though. I want to buy the CD single but it's £7.83 to import it - should I?

Not disgracing itself on iTunes but it could be doing a lot better...Definitely downloading the video later!

Uncovered continues Delta's tradition of fantastic b-sides, no doubt it will be better than half of the album a la the Delta era.

Its now #12 on itunes :dance: Its actually very good IMO, in Australia it is slightly different to here because no song is usually held back for long. I can't even remember the last time a song got THAT high in its first day in the last year or so over there (apart from the X Factor winner or may be Lady Gaga last year).

She has the Voice and Logie performance at the weekend. I think she should get to #2 fairly easy, just a case of catching up to Carly which still has a HUGE lead.

The video is #21 on the iTunes music video chart, ok that can't require many sales but it still shows that demand is here in the UK, 7 years after her last single release here! She'd BETTER push this era here!

I just downloaded it - £1.29 well spent I feel :D

^ I don't think it's doing too well, it's #12 and falling :/

Shame, I guess her relevance as a singles artist has all but disappeared, although it was starting to fade during the Delta era. Hopefully she can still manage a #1 album, I just want to hear the music though to be honest!

I really think she should give it a go here again, she could easily get on the Radio 2 playlist and have a decent sized album!

Promo includes a Logies performance tommorow (Sunday in Australia) and The Voice starts tommorow as well so hopefully that should help get the song climbing the charts. Just checked the Aussie iTunes again and its still at #12, which to be honest after 4-5 years out of the charts is respectable but of course it'd be great to see it go all the way to #1.

Have you guys heard the b-side "Uncovered"?... its great! If the album is similar to this I'm gonna be a very happy camper!

That is SO much better than "Sitting on Top of the World", it's unreal! :lol: I do like the single, but it was definitely chosen for release as a cheap summer single, I'm thinking.
Ooo I love Uncovered! Which is strange as usually I think her b-sides are dire.
So I listened to this for the first time today and I can't get it out of my head! It's a great little, carefree, harmless pop song. The video suits the song so well too. Even the corny dance moves. She's actually stunning too, isn't she?!
Good to see you liking it Jonjo, maybe I need to take the loon glasses off judging by others opinions of the song but I genuinely absolutely love Sitting On Top Of The World. Not just 'because it's Delta', there are plenty of examples of songs of hers that I haven't loved. I'm aware that I'm unable to be as objective as most but it's genuinely a 10/10 song for me.

Just imported the CD single on eBay, can't have an incomplete collection. Cost £8 odd mind, the lengths a loon will go to :drama:

Here's Sitting On Top Of The World live at the Logies;

You don't need to. At least it's consistant with your tastes. Even if it was recorded by someone else who was fairly similar to Delta, I can imagine you "looning" for it just as much as if it was to be a Delta song. (Confusing? Lol) It's a brilliant pop song and I'm loving it more and more with each listen. I hope she gives it another go here in the UK, with this song. It reminds me so much of 'Love Song' by Sara Bareilles. It's a simple, yet powerful pop song.
