Woo for Jessie J, Icona Pop, Mariah Carey and Robert DeLong. The Mariah Carey song is really growing on me now, I think it's decent.

Icona Pop playlisted :cheer: Best news of the week! Also nice to see Jessie straight to the B list and Robert DeLong on the INMWT list.
Perfect, just as Paramore are about to enter the top 10 Radio 1 drop them from the playlist

I was kind of hoping they'd add 2 Chainz this week, but at least we got Mariah Carey!! :o Wow. I'm glad they added it.

Glad to see John Newman up to B-List, the song is incredible!

Chase & Status's song is brilliant too. It's like a poppier singing version of Hitz (at least the original version, not heard that remix they playlisted). I hope it does well.

I suspected that they were waiting to drop J Cole before adding Mariah (can't be having too much smooth Miguel sounds for these randy listeners). DELIGHTED!

Also great to see DeLong there (D'yer-oski party WOO!) :D

WOOP at Robert DeLong (could be a hit if they actually give it proper support, expecting 4 weeks-ish on INMWT then dropped never to be heard from again though) and John Newman leaping INMWT-B. Yay for Dizzee, Robin and Breakbot - Baby I'm Yours (!) climbing to A-List as well and Biffy, C&S (very much loving their new song) and London Grammar climbing to B.
Oh my god, Mariah :o Thought Radio 1 would snub her due to her age but very glad that they haven't! Woo for Icona Pop too :D Also, that John Newman song is an obvious future #1.

Wondering whether John Newman's "Love Me Again" can be a decent hit now that R1 have bumped it up to the B-list. Great sounding record, rather unique in the charts at the moment. Hoping it'll debut within the T5.

Great to see continued support for Alicia Keys though and support for Icona Pop and Mariah Carey (though the latter's probably peaked now)

Also, that John Newman song is an obvious future #1.

Sadly it's out on the same week as Icona Pop so won't have a chance. I'm hopeful it can at least be a big top 3 hit.

Oh, have Radio1 snubbed The Wanted? Poor 'Gentleman' not being playlisted :(

I'm 100% certain that they'll playlist Gentleman soon.

Oh really? :( I wonder if it could actually beat Icona Pop (I know it sounds unlikely but I'm expecting it to open north of 100k, and not sure if Icona Pop will do that first week out), or climb to #1 at a later date.

I'm 100% certain that they'll playlist Gentleman soon.

Yeah they will playlist 'Gentleman' but unfortunately.. I think it's going to have 2-4 weeks top 40, the radio don't seem to be supporting the song, which is a shame as this is the follow up to 'What About Us'

Icona Pop, John Newman and The Saturdays competing for the top? I don't think we've had so many potential #1 releases out on the same week since Just The Way You Are, Forget You and Shame were about to come out on the same week! :D

(okay, maybe not The Saturdays, but it's still exciting to see massive big releases competiting for the #1!)

I'm actually stunned at them adding Mariah but so, so pleased :o Hopefully this will get her climbing up the charts again.
