Do people really see Union J not going to #1? I thought it was a certainty!

 

Most songs by boy groups don't go to #1, and also the sales at the top of the chart are really high at the moment. So I think they might miss out, but I don't know.

I love 'Carry You' but it's still only C-list at R1 and they don't have the same buzz that One Direction had (+ a mixed reaction to the single) so I see it being #3 at most. :(

I think 'Carry You' will mirror 'Proud' by JLS, albeit with a mildly higher peak.

I was hoping Union J wouldn't challenge for #1 thisweek, but I see their EP is #1 on the album chart......eek.

I think Carry You will do better than Proud at least. Proud wasn't played by Capital FM, so it didn't stand a chance.

At this rate it looks pretty likely Union J will be number 2. I don't think there's a chance of number 1 though, they're not as popular (or as good - never thought I'd be saying that but their song's terrible) as One Direction who got 150k with their first single, and Robin Thicke should be looking to be not far off that in his second week, so I don't think Union J have a chance.

16 for Union J... seriously.... if it was One Direction it would have been #1 by now with a new release, so I doubt the track will get to #1, plus Robin Thicke is performing at the end of the week on Graham Norton show.

If there's any justice in the world, Union J won't even be close to being a no. 1 contender. Whilst I'm still kinda 50/50 with 'La La La' I'd much rather see Naughty Boy holding them at no. 3 at the most. I look forward to seeing how far Union J plummet next week (because that's exactly what is going to happen). :D

i think Carry You will be very front loaded, it'll drop later in the week

My gut instinct was 'Carry You' peaking at #3 but I'm now thinking it may sneak in at #2 with EP sales etc. It all depends how high they go initially.
