With the Voice been transmitted today, Leah McFall could easily be top 40 by Sunday, if she gets top 10 on iTunes. I'm just amazed in just a few hours her song choice is top 30 already on iTunes.
The Voice performances were chart eligible last year too I believe! I can remember both 'Higher Love' by Tyler and 'Running Up That Hill' by Bo charting somewhere in the top 75 officially! :D

You're half-right - those two did chart (as did Max Milner's 'Free Fallin'' and Vince Kidd's 'Like A Virgin') but they weren't actually released on the week they were performed. They only became available on a compilation album released the week the series ended. 'Higher Love' rightfully entered higher than Leanne Mitchell's 'winner's single' :D

 

Leah was painful at the end of her performance, I can see why she's popular but really not a fan. Not really paying attention to The Voice this year, the only people I can actually remember are her and Alys or however she spells her name.

 

:cheer: for The Lumineers back in the top 20 once again! And Christina Perri back in the top 25 also. These 2 songs will never die. They both still sound good to me so I don't mind though :P Great to see such a big effect for 'Radioactive' as well, 2 versions in the top 40 again :o

Interestingly, on the US version a contestant gets their votes added to if their song makes top 10 (it happens most weeks and sometimes two or even three go top 10, but because of airplay and streaming also counting in the Hot 100 it's rare than even go top 20 officially, the highest I saw was #23).

I really hope she goes Top 10 on itunes, would love it to go Top 20 officially too!
