The only factor which could go against him is possible exhaustion after Friday's epic, whereas Andy had an easier ride through. But Novak is super fit anyway so I think he'll be fine. So agreed, winner in 5.

And Novak doesn't?

Whichever one wins deserves it.

Andy would be making history if he won today, Novak would just be getting another win. So erm yes, Andy deserves it more.

2 sets up though. *.* G'WON ANDY

That's ridiculous logic. 99% of the time the person playing the best tennis wins, and thus deserves the win. Simple as.

Terrific game, just loving the long strokes, with a break its looking good, but there is margin for errors. Let's hope I didn't put a curse on it.

I don't think winning Wimbledon is just 'another win'. It's pretty much the biggest event in the sport, and he's only won it once, like Jark said there is no logic in that statement

Gutted to miss the first 2 sets at work, but I'm back now hopefully to see him win.

So happy for him! He thoroughly deserved that win! :D Fair play to Novak though, he wasn't giving up at the end.

Fantastic result! So happy for Murray right now, he really played excellently there.

Bloody tense last game but it made for a great end to the tournament.

Amazing! I don't even have much of an interest in this, but that last serve before the match point... :o Pretty much an excellent game from Murray the whole way through and a well deserved win, although Djockavic certainly was a worthy opponent.

Sensational! I really never thought I'd witness a British player winning Wimbledon :o Really pleased for him that he's not a 'one slam wonder' too. Can't believe he did it in straight sets too, would have never called it!
The last game was really tense, coming back from those break points. A well deserve win.
Suppose it's nice to have support in the crowd, but David Cameron and Victoria Beckham... Two sour-faced gits. Did she just smile though? :o
Andy Murray deserves the Sports Personality of the year surely, after that.

Now we can say he deserved it. Great match from Murray. Shame Novak's flashes of brilliance were so brief and infrequent.

Sports personality of the year though? Wouldn't that require having a personality? :D

I actually found him very funny in the interview, he's got quite an amusing dead pan humour. (or probably just so dead pan, it comes across as humour unintentionally).
