Pixie Lott has always been extremely average and I cannot fathom how she managed 3 no.1s or why we're still talking about her.....

Not even the addition of The Vamps can make me get enjoyment from this track. Truly her worst single to date. :(

fabulous, a bad song turned into a MoR bad song. what exactly does a male boyband vocal add to the song/meaning of the song? or pixie's camp just trying to court the attention of an act that has a fanbase. what a cheap move.

Oh, I rather like that acoustic version :D

I think Nasty is also my least favourite Pixie Song - hopefully single two is better - I wouldn't mind Heart cry being a single!

That version with The Vamps is beautiful, Pixie and Brad sound great together!
LOVING the acoustic version. Not even just cause of the addition of The Vamps, I just love the arrangement of it there.

OH MY GOD. This thread is literally the best one I've come across for ages.

All About Tonight was on regular rotation around two months before the song came out didn't it? I think this might get C-List on Radio 1 and maybe some airplay on the other stations but that will probably be it.

Ha, yeah it's amazing that such a half-arsed, unimaginative release could inspire such passion and debate!

245. Pixie Lott Feat The Vamps - Nasty

819. Pixie Lott - Nasty

432. Pixie Lott - Nasty [EP]

It's doing okay on Television Airplay - Currently #20. Hopefully Capital / Radio1 playlist 'Nasty' next week. I can't think of anything other than a 5-19-28-x chart run at the moment. Single 2 needs to be massive.

It's pixie lott, her pre orders are doing great, and her youtube views are massive compared to other acts. I doubt she will do a disco love by the sats

I'm not sure the whole chart run is that big a deal right now, a top 10 hit is good enough after how her career looked to be going after YFH!

You mean getting a #8 post-album hit?

And let's not forget this worldwide smash

turututututururu

Yeah Kiss the Stars did well but she's been out of the spotlight for a while and it did seem like no-one at all was gonna care when she came back.

Then Nasty went to #45 on pre-orders alone as soon as it was released. It should get play listed by radio 1 and capital next week. Got this from another forum (ATRL) btw:

Radio Plays of new releases around Nasty's release.

Pixie Lott - Nasty = 153 plays

Lily Allen - Air Balloon = 96 plays

Kylie Minogue - Into The Blue = 70 plays

One Direction - Midnight Memories = 47 plays

Paloma Faith - Can't Rely On You = 37 plays

Little Mix - Word Up! = 9 plays

Lily Allen seems to have slowed down but Kylie's airplay is rocketing which will be Pixie's high competition that week. She'll probably overtake Pixie by next week. Although 153 plays is pretty decent in comparison to the other songs on that list.

'Nasty' going 8-21-36-80-x would be a disaster for Pixie, particularly in respect to her relationship with radio. If this ends up with a "low top 10 and dead" run she will need to pull out all the stops for single #2 and well, I'm not sure I can see that happening at this stage.

That said I do not think 'Nasty' will do that badly regardless. I just think being happy with that would be foolish.

There's definitely a Young Foolish Happy pun in there somewhere.

Her relationship with radio? Didn't radio stations not playlist "Gravity" and "Turn it Up"?

I'm almost positive that 'Gravity' was one of her most successful radio hits. It went to #04 I believe and it helped the album re peak at #06.
