In anticipation of her 8th studio album, let's vote which is Britney's best album so far.

1) ...Baby One More Time might not seem a strong album and might not have aged well for this day and age, but it includes some of the most iconic songs of her entire career, like the title track.

2) Oops!... I Did It Again is her big selling sophomore record. It continued the teen pop trend of her debut album, including the title track which has propelled her to be known as the 'not that innocent' pop girl.

3) Britney marks a breaking point in Britney's career. It's the album that turned her from innocent teen pop sensation to sexy siren and it's also a high in her career: back then she was EVERYWHERE, and even a radio ban in the USA couldn't prevent the album becoming No.1 with huge opening sales.

4) In The Zone is one, if not her most experimental album to date. It includes very big involvement from Britney herself and it also gave us one of her most iconic songs: Toxic.

5) Blackout. Deemed as her best album ever, it's probably her quintessential record and the one that almost everyone loves or respects. Critically acclaimed and musically trendsetting, this album wasn't a huge seller but it remains a pop gem of this generation.

6) Circus might be a bit of a mishap for many fans. It seems to be an album thrown upon us to mark a quick comeback for Britney, and it doesn't appear to be very cohesive. As a matter of fact, a replacement of most of its content for the bonus tracks that were recorded for the album would've made it much more credible or coherent.

7) Femme Fatale seems to be a similar case of the aforementioned Circus. Even when it took 2/3 years for Britney to release it, it really seemed it was recorded in 2/3 months and it didn't seem to have a lot of input or excitement on Britney's part. It still gave us really fun moments like Till The World Ends or Hold It Against Me.

01. 'Blackout'

02. 'In The Zone'

03. 'Femme Fatale'

04. 'Britney'

05. 'Circus'

06. 'Baby One More Time'

07. 'Oops I Did It Again'

They are all amazing in their own ways though and have their fair share of highlights (for example 'Circus' holds 3 of my most favourite songs by her!) but 'Blackout' is just in a whole different league to everything else she's done. It's easily been her most daring and exciting material of her entire career so far for me. I get why people may deem it "overrated", but that for me couldn't be further from the truth. It just is that damn good.

I love :

01. Oops ! I Did It Again (Wonderful album, the one from my all-time favourites. "Lucky" is the best Britney song. + very cute "Dear Diary", "Girl In The Mirror" + classic "Oops ! I Did It Again)

02. Circus (Great comeback album, after awful "Blackout" she is back with amazing "Circus". My favourites : If You Seek Amy, Womanizer, Lace And Leather)

03. Baby One More Time (Classic pop album, great singles choice (include "From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart")

In the middle (I like only some songs from every album):

04. In The Zone (Mediocrity album, if don't count lovely "Toxic" and nice "Shadow")

05. Britney (Forgetable album. "I'm Not A Girl" is perfect pop, but I can't remember the most songs)

06. Femme Fatale (Very modern album in the worst meaning of term "modern pop music". Still in love with "I Wanna Go" and "Criminal", but don't like another songs)

Bottom:

07. Blackout (Her worst album, something near 2.5 - 3.0 from 10. Only "Radar" and "Break The Ice" is not bad for me)

1. Blackout

2. In the Zone

3. Britney

4. Circus

I never really got into Blackout, although Piece Of Me was amazing. I get why it was so critically lauded though.

It just has to be Blackout for me, so many killer songs. In The Zone and Femme Fatale would probably round up my top 3.

1. Blackout

2. In The Zone

3. Britney

4. Circus

5. Oops!..I Did It Again

6. Femme Fatale

7. ...Baby One More Time

Although from time to time I tend to switch between 2. and 3. Femme Fatale (although a great album like all) has aged horrendously for me although its made me appreciate how brilliant tracks like Trip To Your Heart and Criminal are.

I never really got into Blackout, although Piece Of Me was amazing. I get why it was so critically lauded though.

Haha the complete opposite for me!

Never really understood the love for 'Piece of Me' but the rest of 'Blackout' I adore.

01 Blackout

02 Britney

03 In the Zone

04 Femme Fatale

05 Circus

Blackout really is miles ahead of the others, incredible album.

I wouldn't say any of the others are great albums, but they all have killer songs.

My list will be quite unpopular but loved Circus (Amnesia love) and Femme Fatale.

1. In The Zone

2. Blackout

3. Oops I Did It Again

4. Femme Fatale

5. Baby One More Time

6. Britney

7. Circus

In The Zone is by far her best for me. "Blackout" was good but it didn't feel like an album, more like an EP with some extra tracks added.

"Britney" was dire as there was no direction and it didn't feel cohesive at all, the less said about Circus the better.
