Posted July 12, 201312 yr http://i40.tinypic.com/20gjl2x.png It's results time! Thanks for all the responses, of which there were 34. It was nice to see a wide range of marks from -1 to 11 being given which isn't really surprising from very hit and miss artists. The highest average score given by a person was 8.2 and the lowest was 4.3 . There are perhaps some surprising results but will the winner be one of them? I'll be counting down the results over the next few days in groups of threes. Edited July 24, 201311 yr by Rabbit Heart

To some, even the idea of this is nearly as traumatic as the upcoming Flo Rida/Pitbull song. Tbh though, it's not the worst song that Flo Rida has put his name to and it mainly suffers here from not being greatly loved and is a song that is just there. I'm in the House actually has the same chart peak as In the Ayer but manages to just beat it here. It features will.i.am under a new pseudonym but, unless I'm mistaken, Zuper Blahq has never appeared again. Hall of Fame is the first of the big hits to go and probably suffers from being one of the most recent songs on the list and radio have only just stopped playing it every hour. It is the most successful thing to arise out of The Voice UK and it reached Number 1 on it's second week which it's US counterpart Moves Like Jagger never managed, even though that was a lot more successful. In the US, it was also a success and managed to sell over 2 million copies. I find the song alright but I did slightly get bored of it over time. Edited July 12, 201312 yr by Rabbit Heart
July 12, 201312 yr Great to see Hall of Fame so low. By far the worst thing will.i.am put his vocals on :( In the Ayer and I'm In The House are not the best Flo Rida and Steve Aoki songs so I'm not too disappointed by their low positions.
July 12, 201312 yr Author 42. http://static.universal-music-services.de/asset_new/242740/879/view/Cover-The-Time--Dirty-Bit.jpg THE TIME (DIRTY BIT) [4.588 points] UK PEAK: 1 US PEAK: 4 TIME OF MY LIFE: 11 #Thermometer WORST TIME: 0 Mariah Scary -1 Aled., Harve, Wall, Mikal 41. http://i42.tinypic.com/n697kg.png JOINTS & JAM [4.625 points] UK PEAK: 53 LIKE: 10 Salt Without GMO DISLIKE: 1 Rob Summers 40. http://www.albumtuner.com/mcovers/m194816.jpg I GOT IT FROM MY MAMA [4.629 points] UK PEAK: 38 US PEAK: 31 LIKE: 10 Mikal DISLIKE: 0 Hitstastic, Simon., Wall Well, there's no surprises here with The Time (Dirty Bit) being the most disliked Black Eyed Peas only single. Using any sample often aggrivates people, let alone using a song from Dirty Dancing. Everyone's first listen to the song is most likely to have been WTF but after many listens, I do believe it KIND OF works in a weird way. However, it is far from their best and after the HUGE success of The END, it was a big letdown. We do have one thing to thank it for though - preventing Willow from reaching Number 1! Joints & Jam is from pre-Fergie days and was the first single from the group. Again, it's no surprise to see it this low, and we'll quickly move on to will.i.am's first solo chart success. I Got It From My Mama was released during the group's hiatus between Monkey Business and The END and was will.i.am's only charting solo single in the US from the album Songs About Girls. It's quite a bizarre subject to release a song about and it isn't exactly what many men want to think about when looking at many girl's mothers.
July 12, 201312 yr The Time (Dirty Bit) way too low :( In hindsight, I don't think it's an 11/10 - I just gave it that to help it out and because I wanted to use up my 3 elevens
July 12, 201312 yr Joints & Jam higher than The Time (Dirty Bit) :o Glad Hall Of Fame is this low - absolutely dire song.
July 12, 201312 yr Echoing the sheet hatred for Hall of Fame. Dreadful song. A little shocked at the lead single from their last album doing SO badly. I mean it's hardly a shining moment but still expected a little better for it here given how love/hate a song it seems to be.
July 12, 201312 yr Hall of Fame is one of the most pretentious, formulaic, faux-'anthems' I've heard in a while, I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking this. Of course, the fact the radio still seem to be playing it all the time is rather annoying too, but I would feel the same way about the song with or without it. I'm not fussed on the will.i.am/Fergie tracks (hopefully they're not too high though as most of them are terrible) but I'm hoping for one of BEPs' pre-2007 tracks to win, that was really when they at their best, God knows what happened to them now. July 12, 201312 yr In an ideal world 'Shut Up' would win, it's my favourite song of all time. I echo CW's comment, whilst alot of their 2008 to date stuff has been very good, none of it really compares to the distinct sounds of 'Elephunk' and 'Monkey Business'. They became formulaic and generic and lost everything that set them apart. Most of Will.I.Am's stuff has been similar, but Fergie's solo output has been (largely) great!
July 13, 201312 yr Fully expecting 'Meet Me Halfway' to win. Don't disappoint me Buzzjack! I'd be happy with that. One of my favourites for sure. lol at In the Ayer coming last. From that song and American Boy (and will.i.am's solo album) you could see the direction will.i.am was heading in as a producer, even before The E.N.D got released.

To me, Don't Stop the Party is the most generic of all their songs and was a very weak single choice which was reflected in the charts. Request + Line was the group's first mark on the Hot 100 and the UK Top 40. It features Macy Gray which possibly helped to inspire the group to hire Fergie for their third album? I think Imma Be was released in the US as the fourth single while Rock That Body was released over here. Nevertheless, the song was still very well known over here probably down to it's repetition and it's inclusion in a special 10 minute video alongside Rock That Body. It didn't really match up to it's predecessor's success but it still did fairly well both here and in the US. Forever is probably most 'remembered', if remembered AT ALL, for will.i.am featuring as a sperm in the video. I'll leave that lovely image below. It is Wolfgang Gartner's highest peaking single to date in the UK. I quite like it and feel that it's one of the better songs that will.i.am in his solo times has contributed to. Fergie's first single to fall is her most recent one, which is of no surprise to anyone who has heard it. It is a bizarre mix of 1920's style dance with modern pop, which marks a significant change in sound but this is likely to be because it was released for The Great Gatsby soundtrack, as was Bang Bang which is still to come. It didn't actually chart in the UK but I thought it would be interesting to see how well it did compared to the other Fergie singles as it was her first solo release in 5 years. http://img.youtube.com/vi/GK5O5-LPB7g/0.jpg Edited July 14, 201312 yr by Rabbit Heart
July 13, 201312 yr Shame 'A Little Party Never Killed Nobody' finished behind 'Bang Bang'. I find the combination of old and new in these songs fantastic and I wish that there was more of this around at the moment. Fergie's is far superior in my opinon... but it seems I'm the only one to think so
July 13, 201312 yr Author I find the combination of old and new in these songs fantastic and I wish that there was more of this around at the moment. I really like it too but I don't think it's executed as well as it could have been in Fergie's song, which is a shame really.
July 13, 201312 yr Imma Be sticks out of the ones revealed so far as being the only listenable/decent track. How it finished below Rock That Body is beyond me! Oh and i'd also support a Meet Me Halfway (or My Humps) win <3
July 13, 201312 yr #thatPOWER is growing on me when it's obviously quite a bad song :( I know what you mean, the chorus is too catchy to deny :(.
