I haven't used it to source an entry for a year and a half, no wonder I started doing badly :lol: In fact I haven't even sent a Swedish act for a year and a half, having previously relied on them :o

 

The only time I'm on there is when Tone has released something to give me a hyperbolic review to squee over that isn't mine :lol:

I just feel like it's a pointless source now, half of us read it so where's the potential for discovery. My entries might misfire more often than they used to nowadays but I wouldn't have thought more than a couple of posters here (if that) had heard the likes of Colors, Platinum Chains, Fallin' In Love, Du & Jeg or Bad Boys Cry before the contest! I don't even care that much about DNQ'ing or flopping as long as I've sent something that I'm 100% happy with and fits in with my general entry policy of being as unkown as possible, or since the veto framework came in, getting as damn close to 0 veto points as I can :P

I was a bit unsure whether I'd be allowed through with Run On Love but that was more down to Tove Lo being known (she is only a featured artist, I suppose) - I gave it a try because a song featuring Vanbot got let through, so I thought it might be alright, and I'm really really loving it so it was worth a try! I'd be interested to know how many veto points I received, because I always over analyse things :lol:

Vanbot was always destined to win BJSC with SOMETHING and you feel like Tove's win is waiting to happen at some point too, if not this month.

 

Shame it never really happened for Tove Styrke, White Light Moment was clearly the BJSC winner that never was.
