I know we've moved on to other songs but I don't particularly understand why the remix of Summertime Sadness is doing so well both here and in the US where she's had little single success before. The remix just sounds like any other remix of any other song. The remix of Spectrum was done so much better and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Flo fan because I love Lana too.

That's the one thing I don't like about the charts, the old songs hang on for 20+ weeks but newer tracks are having 1/2 weeks and then they're gone, and a lot of this weeks fallers are great songs, sigh....

Poor Lawson, it's actually a pretty good track.

Brokenhearted is one of the most cringiest songs of the year. So average and bland

 

"tables turned, lessons learnt, you got burnt, yeah" and "I was standing in the dark" stand out in particular :manson:

As much as I'm loving the "Summertime Sadness" remix, I'm annoyed that it's likely to outpeak Lana's three best singles in one swift move in a week's time :(

 

 

It starts to re-enforce the impression that good music gets outsold by lowest common denominator crowd pleasers.

Dancing in the Moonlight is a great song (even though they didn't write it). Their song Achilles Heel is rather groovy too.
